The power is here!!!!

SZOBM ZY-2400 3xXM-L T6 LED Aluminum for only $42.25 +shipping

The 2400 probably stand for the Lumens it produces.

Great value for money. Where is all that heat going to go to?

Ha! It was only a matter of time.  Nice find, How2!

Although there's no mention of how much current is actually getting to those emitters, if it's anywhere near 3a each expect the lifespan to be really short! (30w is a lot to ask from that style of drop-in light).

It has a bunch of extensions, so you could probably run 2 or 3 18650's. Olight is introducing a 3xXML light soon that is supposed to put out 1500 ANSI lumens.

Sounds like a Chinese pipe bomb in the making! 4x18650? This thing will look like the long maglite someone here uses in their sig.

Rats, finally sold my 2010 509hp Mustang...now I can buy more lights!

Sold the red one too! Now guess what I drive, doing my penance for 500 hp commuters...

I'll pass.

Dislike the battery setup and the performance/heatsinking/bomb ratio.

I would prefer a parallel setup either.

I'd rather have a big fat light rather than a long thin one....

Heatsink issues....  battery is also ugly, but the problem is heatsinking!! my 15 Watt SST-50 torches are scary to use, and those are specially designed with the emitter and star sitting on the heatsink piece, not drop-ins.

Impractical as it may be, I would rather have 3x single 18650 torches.

But regardless. its cool to see a triple XM-L! Smile

Pulled the triggerLaughing

Intend to buy another powerlight (trustfire X6), but change my mind and going for the triple XM-L T6 (like the colorbeam T6)

Shipping to Belgium (Europe) is very cheap (9.9 USD), makes total of 52.15 USD

thommy - I will be very interested to hear what you have to say about this light.  If you only knew how close I came to ordering . . .

If I hadn't already shot off my mouth with JohnnyMac and his F15 . . .

Do let me know about that one - I've been sorta, kinda looking at those as the replacement assistant will be a lot more energetic than it's predecessor so I might well want something like that till I get the pup trained.

(Ain't happening soon as I'm waiting for Foxwood to breed some more.

http://www.foxwoodgiants.com/

They'd sold all the pups from the last litter (At $1600 a time). they sent me a video of the current litter - I wanted all 11 of them. Problem is my house isn't big enough. Come to that, my local park isn't big enough.)

Not all that soon - Foxwood don't breed all that often. I'm on the list for their next litter. Giants tend to have large litters - 11 pups is normal. I've seen the video of the current litter and I want all 11 of them. At about 40% of what I get paid a year....

Not only is my house not big enough, my local park isn't big enough!

And I want another Foxwood - Fizz was Foxwood Carpe Diem.

What I want is Foxwood Carpe Jugulum.

Wink

Within limits.

The limits to be defined by training.

Going for a dog rather than a bitch this time - Fizz was a "rescue" dog from a breeder that had decided to downsize from giant schnauzers to papillons and border terriers.

ROFL! Foy, you can only shoot your mouth off one light at a time! You had better hope that nothing ever meets or beats your 980L the way you evangelize it. Silly

No problem Don,

I understand that we use for this purpose the best equipment.

I also ordered thisone for my daily walk with my best friend Gypsy (Border Collie)

Congrats, glad to know that you are going for a new assistentCool

It cannot replace the one you had for many years, but it helps you to get over it and after a matter of time you gonna love your new friend.

It took me 2 years to get over the lost of Lady (King Charles Cavalier), but now Gypsy is almost more than 1 year with us, I am realy happy to have back a best friend.

I have a visiting hound just now.

Sonny!

The manic Cocker Spaniel. The soundtrack is from his owner 20 years ago when he worked for me.

"evangelize"

Dear heaven above, is that what I sound like?  Perhaps I need to move the appointment with my therapist up a little sooner.  My condition is becoming much more acute.

Heheheh...it's all good. It's good for the soul to find something you enjoy and are excited to share with others. We all need a little more of that in our lives. Smile If we all find something that sparks our enthusiasm and share it with the others here we will be able to broaden our horizons and try new things we would have missed out on otherwise. Wink

Got mine yesterday,

Hooray, thisone is now the longest in my collectionLaughing

First impressions,

very, very bright but not the throw skills like my Olight SR91 (was not surpriced)

It illuminates everything like daylight  in front of you for about 20 meters.

A real flooder with nice throwing capacities.

But what a very strange size, a real pipelineTongue out

It gets warm, but way not like the UF 980L.

Gonna take it out this evening for the second time, but it's get not so dark here these day's, it's almost full moon.

Thommy, how's the current draw with 2 and 4 x 18650?  4S is really a lot, really need to make sure to balance them cells properly.  2 is manageable and would be very safe with good cells like Solarforce, XTAR, Sanyo/Panasonic/Samsung or IMR.  With flat top cells, it is best not to use magnets but drop a blob of solder and file the top part down a bit. Need to wrap the drop-in good with aluminum/copper foil real tight.

I ordered the Sky Ray version from Manafont, 2 x 18650 only. How much is the shipping from Shenzhen Wholesale?
