And contacted CS a couple of days ago.
It should have shipped yesterday, if not I could contact them 2 days later.
So tomorrow I’ll email them again.

I really want this light with the usb charger head, but it’s taking an awfully long time now Sad

Well, that’s proof they don’t use first come first serve.
So everybody stop ordering until the rest get their order shipped Big Smile

They did the same thing to me with two different Klarus lights. My orders would say ‘processing’ then return to ‘back order’ and after about a week of bouncing back and forth I cancelled them both. I really wanted this Roche light too but I was worried my order would meet the same fate.

Normally a company gives a ridiculously good deal to bring new customers on board, where they will stick around and presumably spend more money on things which aren’t on sale. BG seems determined to scare all their customers away. Someone should teach them basic marketing. About the only one of these companies I will deal with these days is Fasttech. I’ve had a few letdowns with them, too, but so far no integrity issues like with BG. I’m more likely to be tolerant of honest mistakes, which I don’t believe these BG back order issues are.

1. I don’t know what did you expect but why are you suprised that F6 rated at 500 lumens is less bright than 900lm SC600?
2. It’s cool white but not very cool (blueish for some people). Again, it’s not flashlight’s fault just your expectations.

I had been checking this one out for a while through several different sites with different lumen ratings – anywhere from 500-1000, so even though BG said 500, who really knows until you get it Smile I suppose I was just hoping for the higher end. Using the SC600 as a comparison of lumens only, I was able to confirm that the 500 on the Roche would be about right.
I just wanted to give others my intial perspective seeing as it seems most are still waiting for theirs. I have had more time to use it now and as with other Roche’s I have I am happy with it, especially for the price.

I would like to try this light against the Shadow GF2 as I think it would be similar size and output with a side switch.

I just received mine today!

Either I don’t know how to work it, or I’m just plain retarded! lol.

How does the interface work? It seems as though they sent me a “momentary” switch. You have to hold it down for a minimum of quarter second or so, it turns on (perfect, every time). The problem is when you let go of the switch. 95% of the time the light will turn off (as if it was a momentary switch), the 5% of the times it stays on, I can click the button and it’ll cycle through the modes, double click for strobe and SOS no problem. Hold the button again to turn off.

It didn’t come with instructions, and the manufacturers site is no help Sad Does this light have a momentary mode? Is it that picky about exactly when you let go of the button??

Sounds like yours may have a problem. I have to hold mine down for 1/2 sec to turn on and off. Once on, normal clicks cycle through, High, Medium and low with double click for strobe. Does this the same way everytime. I dont have any momentary on. An idea is to check the battery your using. I tried protected first which I couldnt quite get the head to screw down all the way and caused some erratic behavour but once I put in an un-protected cell and the head could be screwed down properly, no problems since.

Pics anyone? I’m still waiting on my light. I’m not too thrilled with banggood. No tracking and shipment is taking forever.

I hate taking pics of a defective light, but you can get a pretty nice view in the video I shot for my complaint to the supplier:

Still waiting again.
It might have do do with the price, too many orders, and I still want this light, but I’m starting to get impatient.

Your video was great. Thanks for taking the time to post it. You have me a little worried that I might be another unlucky one with the same switch issue

I wouldn’t worry, seems everyone else is super happy with theirs.

Banggood is mailing me out a new (pre-tested) head for no charge!! So that’s really good service in my book Smile

I’ll let you know when I get it.

Banggood mailed me and asked if I want to wait for stock (25 dec…) or get a refund.
I took refund, will believe when I see the money on my account.

Showing expected restock tomorrow, total after coupon code is now $22.69, ($26.70 without code) Did the price go up since this thread was started?

This light is interesting but I wonder how it would compare to my Olight S20, (It’s slightly larger, Roche is 4.5mm longer and the head is 6mm larger)

Roche is half the price and looks way better. If you are in the market for this style of light I would definitely get one, excellent guality. The quality is equal to Olight or better.
