Mine finally shipped.
Not in time for a paypal claim if needed, but I don’t think that will be needed. I seldom have to claim things with paypal, even after the deadline I get most things solved with sellers if there’s a problem.

None of my Banggood tracking codes work. Is that all for show?

Roche is half the price and looks way better. If you are in the market for this style of light I would definitely get one, excellent guality. The quality is equal to Olight or better.

Yes I do plan on getting one as it does appear to be a really nice light and a really good deal. I’m also getting ready to throw down for a Roche F12 from fasttech.

I already have the Olight S20 (actually 2 of them) I’m just wondering if there is any advantage to this over the Olight (besides the price) if its brighter, or better tint, beam pattern etc. I’m not expecting it to be brighter since they’re both rated 500LM.

The disadvantage already is size because the Roche is slightly larger (and yet it appears it won’t take protected cells!) Also it doesn’t come with any instructions for the UI. The Olight has a really good UI, I have to say it’s the best UI I have ever had. It sounds like this is similar, I’m wondering does this have “one click to last mode” memory, or an electronic lockout like the Olight has? It looks like it could accidentally activate easily in the pocket with the switch being raised like that.

I’m also wondering whats the difference between this and the version FancyFlashlights/CN is selling: LINK, theirs is showing U2 LED and it’s branded EDCgear on it instead of Roche, it also comes with some sort of “Special made waist clip” thats also branded EDCgear.
Plus it comes with a set of 3 accessories that screw in the tail (2 different attack heads and one D-ring)

It would be nice to have those extra accessories but not worth an extra $25.

As far as being better quality I know Roche is said to be higher quality than some of the xxxfire brands, but I’m kind of disappointed to read one of the first ones anyone got on here seems to have been defective. I own several of the Olights (S15, S20, i3s) and they have have excellent reliability. They’re both good lookin lights but I personally think the Olight is sleeker looking with its thinner plain head, plus the Olight’s pocket clip is the Deep Carry design and it also has the magnetic tail, I really like those features.

All of that aside I still want this light, I like the style and the fact its a decent brand for a fair price, the attack head is a pretty cool feature, plus I like the charger head option, will probably get that too. I wish they would offer a neutral tint on this too.

I was going to wait until some more BLF’ers received theirs and posted their thoughts or a review, unfortunately waiting is costing me since it appears the price already went up a few bucks. So I’ll order as soon as I see they are in stock. From what I’m reading in this thread I don’t think I like this seller though, and they keep pushing the restock date back every day, now it’s the 22nd!

Same light that CNQG sells except without the accessories or special leds, Ric has them specially made. Same quality as Olight or any of the other premium brands. The button can be pushed while carrying in the pocket, has already happened to me twice, only drawback I see. Can be locked out by loosing the head about 1/8 turn, always starts on high, strobe and SOS are hidden and accessed by a quick double click. Unprotected batteries only because of length.

What is the charger head? Is that the cord or different electronics in the light?
Never mind the coffee starting to kick in .without the charger head it’s just a flashlight lol

So do you think the light actually has a different LED than the one that Ric sells? (XML2 vs XML2-U2)

The bangood version does at least come with the short attack spike correct?

And bangood pushed the arrival back another day again, as they’re doing daily now: “Expect restock on 23rd December “

Does anyone know what the Micro USB input is for?

The description only refers to the USB output: “you can use it charge your mobil phone or other electronics”

If you take a note of most other mobile chargers, they also come with a charging slot for the charger itself, so that you don't have to take out the battery and swap it in or purchase a separate charger.

This is of more worth in a charger that is secured together more permanently/less conveniently than a flashlight body.

People do not light a lamp and then hide it away, instead they put it where it gives lig

It would be interesting to know how good the charger head charges batteries. I’m thinking for travelling, then you bring flashlight + charge head, and you have a power bank for your phone, that you also can charge with the phone charger Smile

They answered my question today, wanted me to wait for 1-2 weeks more. I’ll do that and next time pay for registered / trackable shipping. Have been waiting a long time for a FT order too so guess I’ll stop using unregistered mail after this.

This light will only accept unprotected batterys? Or unprotected will only work with the 1/8 turn “trick” , not sure what you mean ,

Can only use unprotected batteries. The 1/8 inch turn for lockout will keep you from accidentily turning on the light while carrying in the pocket.

Still waiting on mine since the Nov 20th shipment date. I almost forgot all about even ordering this light. This will be my last purchase from banggood. I filed a paypal claim, oh well.

i did the same and got a refund from a dispute as they wouldnt answer my emails or paypals claims.

its a shame – ive done a few other orders with them that all came through just fine

maybe just because of the holiday rush or something

Did you have to step up the claim to a dispute?

Just picked up my F6 too! Not very happy about it, everything’s OK in low and high mode but medium is unusable, bad flickering going on. Not talking about pwm, just flickering like bad electrical contact. Anyone else got that problem?

EDIT: Tried to catch the flickering using my phone and the difference between medium and high mode seems to be the flickering, the amount of light put out is the same. Bad driver I guess? Time to send BG a question Sad

One of mine did that flicker bit for a second, after that everything is fine now.

Today I finally received my F6 ordered on 14th of november.
Great light, really love it. It easily takes protected NCR18650B´s indeed.
Only banggood forgot to add my charger head, so I´ll just have to wait longer again for my whole order to be completed.

Yes,

I have contacted BG and they wanted photo’s of what I got and the packaging. So I’ve provided them and see how they will handle it.
