This is just more of a what's up review of the 58mm reflector I used in a build a short time ago. I was looking for a 5-up reflector, but one that would fit a bigger head, (in the 60m range) and I found them through Tmart. In fact, they actually got some and stocked them, so I figure I owe them a review of the part.
The large OD of this reflector is 58.58mm
The Depth is 18.25mm
The cups would be 23mm each, if they were full cups.
The led holes are 8mm and would need locater rings around XM-L leds.
Center to center is about 16.5mm, so 16mm stars work.
The back side is cut for wire clearance.
I found no defects in the plating or clear coat.
I believe that these are the same reflectors found in the TR-J12 5 led light. They look exactly alike.
If you're looking for a multi-led reflector to put into a 60mm sized head, or there abouts, this one might just be what you are looking for.
I used this in a SolarStorm 5 led light and I prefer the 5 cups in this shape, with one in the center, versus the 5 cups around the OD. I think it gives a better overall beam.
