Has anyone succesfully found a switch to suit the SmallSun?
Preferably something from DX.

This should have standard C8 threads, but the switch pad is not for my taste. I’m generally using wallbuys pressure switches (has locking and momentary switch). Usually more expensive (currently on promotion for 1.49 usd) but still budget and good quality compared to other cheap ones.

Does the standard tail cap disassemble and this go in its place or should I source a different cap?
You can use SmallSun tailcap and replace internals for cheap result . If you do, I recommend to cut down the spring a bit because it may be too long and may bend and short to body. Btw, wallbuys pressure switch will make some clicking noises. If you need complete silence, then they won’t suite you.
Or buy whole Ultrafire C2/C8 pressure switch assembly. Will screw right on and work nicely. This on DX is better than product on previous DX link because switch contact pad is standard size and pressure pad is easier to press. Same switch is cheaper on wallbuys, ebay…
Bare pressure switches are usually generally standard size (more expensive brands like fenix, olight, jetbeam etc are exceptions) and are interchangeable to each other.
Thanks once more, silence isn’t a concern and I’m liking the ability to have it on turned on when released as with your original switch link.
