Found a nice deal of a UltraFire LED Flashlight 1600Lm Waterproof 2x18650 Battery at Aliexpress.
I have a similar set and it is quite good as a general purpose bike. (Except for Next Mode memory)
Very tempting. Nice find.
Must resist buying another light I don’t need.

Thought I noticed something familiar.
Please note that this one is 1x18650 and significantly lower quality (hollow pill, worse anodizing, worse beam) than my 2x18650 Trustfire. OK as mod host though.
Trustfire would be the original designer of this light. Better all around but i’ve seen a few unlabeled versions with excellent anodizing.
I’m 99% sure that is an error and this light takes 2x18650
Here is the one from the same seller that is unlabled but has a nice satin/flat anodizing. I have ordered this one before and it is built well.

Nope. I have bought couple of these 1x18650 models, modded those (filled the pill, added XM-L2 T6 3C & Qlite) and sold to beginners (= who should not use 2x18650 lights).
That one is 1x and the second one you linked is 2x (but internals of the head look like 1x, so might be hollow pill?)
Every ebay link in this thread so far shows the same length to the light in Aliexpress. I believe 1x18650 is a typo. Or I might just be blind, idk. No idea as far as pill/anod/beam goes.

It just looks way too long for one 18650 to fit in there alone. What is all the extra space filled with?

That’s a strange pill and explains the reason for 1 18650. What’s with the purple stripes?
The anodizing on this light is a closer match to your trustfire dark grey metallic anodizing.
Wow that is odd for a stock pill, never seen that before. I’m assuming the trustfire Z5 a normal short pill, and thus 2x 18650?
