It looks the same but I don’t see this unique feature listed anywhere…
“Remove the internals and batteries from the body tube and ZEROHOUR becomes a nearly indestructible capsule to keep your valuables dry and protected. Use the case to store matches, keys, lighters, money, make-up, first aid, and other small items.”
That’s truly revolutionary stuff right there, maybe I should look into modding some of my lights to add this capability…hah!
Oh and they forgot to mention that you can also turn your flashlight into an emergency water bottle thanks to it’s double o-ring technology…
I’m actually interested in this light. Seems like a good, multipurpose platform. Are there any other links for this style of light. The KD links are dead…
Kickstarter likely won’t do anything. They have been slow taking down even verifiable fraud.
Its a shame, there are some good projects but kickstarter harms itself by allowing junk & straight up fraud even.
Let users vote on projects. With options for fraud, existing design and submitting links or other proof. Weigh votes based on users rep.
Of course if junk projects can scam people into funding them… kickstarter gets a cut.
It is a nice idea and ZeroHour sounds cool for this kind of product. It looks like it is possible to charge the cells in the caddy which is probably safer than charging in the flashlight body. Most users will probably not think about venting when using a flashlight as a portable power source. I wonder which is weakest, charger side or lens side.
