The Brinyte C9 XM-L is listed as a 5-mode light on sz-eyoung but as a 1 mode on bestinone. So it is a 1-mode or a 5-mode? What's the best price you could give me shipped for one of them? You can pm me the price if you don't want to put it in the thread.

I have been interested in the C5 for quite some time. Thanks, Andi! But at 1400 mh, it didn't seem that appealing.

After sending Wendy a pm, inquiring about the driver, she quickly responded with some good news:

Thank you for your question. Here are my answers. First, Brinyte Flashlight company use 'AMC 7135 chips' on their circuit board. As you know, 'AMC7135' is a kind of 'Constant Current Chip'. 1 Chips can put out 350mA continously. So, If 'Brinyte company' put in AMC7135*4 circuits, The total current will be reach 1400mA. And, If they put in AMC7135*8 circuits, The total current will be reach 2800mA. Second, Brinyte company makes their flashlights as client demand. So, AMC7135*4 (1400mA)/ AMC7135*8 (2800mA) are up to clients requirement. As you know, A lot of XM-L flashlight use AMC7135*8 (2800mA) circuit. But, Some clients want more stable circuit. Because 2800mA circuit put out a lot of heat(So, This heat can be harmful to circuit chips performance and stableness) AMC7135*4 (1400mA circuit) is more safe than AMC7135*8(2800mA circuit). In conclusion, There are many 2 type of current in Brinyte company. You can choice between 1400mA and 2800mA, and You can see 2 types brightness. Thanks. Post some prices. I could not be bothered asking for quotes on multiple lights- even if I end up paying more somewhere else.

Unless you order large quantities, all Wendy does is quote the price you would pay on the bestinone retail site, so no price breaks for BLFUndecided

The C5 1-mode is $31.33 after the $2.27 handling fee. Wendy gave me a quote of $29.15 shiped. The one I have on order (5-mode) was $30.23 shiped with a gift (keychain light) and maybee some pictures of Wendy (fingers crossed). I didn't see the 5-mode listed so I don't know how much it normaly sells for.

So did you just directly paypal via e-mail? I may have to order the 5-mode 2800ma C5 if it seems like your order goes through Ok. The monster throwing potential of that combo may be too hard to pass up.
