Here´s the deal: I got a Ganzo 704 for now as my "big blade".
I´m not using it, I don´t like it :(
Recommend me a better one!
You can have it if you need a knife, I will ship it anywhere free. (holster included).
What I like in Ganzo:
- non-serrated blade = A must!
- Good function on lock
no-no...:
- Blade is something like 4mm thick, that is just too much!
Mention something like "I ´m in" if you want this. Keep in mind it has been used but to be honest, very little. It has something related to tar etc. on blade (see pic) from putting fireplace wood to small pieces, may need sharpening.
Anyone can join if registered before 28.11.2013. Enter at own risk if your countrys customs does not allow to ship these...
I’m in. I would recommend Harnds Viper. Really solid knife and not as thick as ganzo. If you need a good slicer… Navy k631. Navys qc is a lottery but I got a flawless one and it is really good for slicing.
I'm in and I like the Enlan EL02B really much: Stonewashed blade (3,08mm thick), axis lock, G10 handle. The Ganzo G714 is nice, too (G10, liner lock). Not many people like a tanto blade, but I do :)
Edit:
@Helios: You are right. I worked with the numbblock of the keyboard and type the 7 instead of the 4. I reposted the new picture.
RealSteel is a new brand and they have the same designer (Liang Chang) as Sanrenmu and the first knives are also produced by Sanrenmu (this is the reason, why some look like bigger brothers of some small Sanrenmus like M21, SRM LB763).
Sorry you don’t like it, but I would love to have it. Knives are funny, you really have to hold it to understand if you like it or not, it is really, really hard to pick one from a picture even if you have all the specs to go with. Anyway, not quite your request, but dollar for dollar you can’t beat anything Mora makes. Thanks, Ed.
Isn’t the one labeled as Ganzo G717 instead a G714?
Its been tempting me, I like the blade shape on it. Bit different then some other tantos. If it had a flipper it would be really hard to resist.
