I have a couple pairs from FT and really like them. They pull good amperage, are protected and are not too long.

i like having “budget” cells around that i just leave at full charge to use… no big deal about capacity loss as they will be used for single cell applications only

I needed them like a hole in the head, but I’ve got a new 18650 flashlight coming; even though I’ve probably got 2 dozen 18650 batts already, I’ve just got to buy some NEW ones for my new Light. We can rationalize Anything around here.

they are basically on par with sanyo urfm 18650 red cells in my experience… as long as they are “legit” trustfire flames and not rewrapped recycled cells

these cells are a little different than my other trustfire flames i got from manafont… they are fatter - 18.5-18.6 mm

all four only charged to 4.12v the first charge - i wonder if this is normal if they had been sitting in storage around 3.7v

i tested on on my hobby charger at 2500mah at 2amps

However 18 months later, my tests showed these batteries all developed high resistance. They had only estimated 20 cycles each.

yes, i have this issue too… they fit in 3 of my single cell lights, as well as my solarfoce hosts, so i will get plenty of use out of them… but they do not fit in my srt7 or my malkoff lights

i have run all the cells i bought from tmart from 3.6v to 4.1- 4.12v (charge)

and now back to around 3.5-3.7v

i am going to recharge tomorrow and see if i can get them to charge higher than 4.12v

if not i might complain to tmart although they probably dont give a ………….

either way, they were cheap and can be used for a while.

But the protection kicks in right at 3.00 amps, so I can’t use them on some of my direct drive lights.
At least I know the protection works.

Would you mind rerunning the test at a 3 amp discharge. That’s usually where I find the biggest difference with china batteries.
If you do run the test, could you note the starting voltage sag and maybe after a few minutes, whats displayed on the charger under the 3 amp load.
