After looking at eba & google.shopping for aluminum channel, I gave up, very expensive 3x price.
$6.98 on-line, $8.58 in B&M local store.
Product in hand is, ID = 1/2” W x 7/16” D.
Even at the $8.58 in-store price that’s 1/2 price to the cheapest Chinese ebay shipper.
edit: visited Lowes B&M store, boy what a bunch of idiots here, using the search function, they punched in ‘aluminum’ and got 1,000’s of hits.
I asked the woman repeatedly, ‘can you search by TWO keywords’ with no answer and a blank look
Finally found the item number but the “associates” could not get a bin location!!
It took almost 45min to locate.
Anyway the 1/2 x 1/2” x 4’ for $4.58 was located, will do fine for my project.
