I just got an order in, and the batteries are a year old. As long as batteries are new, can they be used together? I’m not sure I would want to mix 5 year old batteries with ones just made, but I am wondering what the time span would be before it might be unsafe to use together.
Not in series, not unless you test them and know they are well matched. I think it'd be okay with lights that run cells parallel.
