I don't have this light, but it should be identical to the TK-703 regarding emitter and driver. Hope this helps...
Because the first was DOA.
It's quite bright, but I found the switch arrangement to be a PITA. In the pocket or on the belt it's way too easy to have it switch on accidentally...the clicky is activated by the caribiner connector.
I have the $3 generic emitter version of this light. I kind of like it, but I wouldn't recommend the combined clicky post / keychain receptor. Rather strange, and not a very good design to have all that weight hanging on the switch.

it's just a 703 with a different type of switch ..I like it but to make it work correctly you need to add something more flexible
between the post and the carabiner if you decide to use the carabiner .i like a regular clip like this > with a soft material final ring attachment to the post like paracord .it's easier to get on and off your belt loop and doesn't bind and force the light on unnessesarily .. the carabiners are a pain .
I have made a few clips off of pens that work pretty well on these lights
Thanks Boaz. I like the big hole on the switch. Was thinking about using paracord instead of the carabiner. The only concern that i had was the switch itself.
