Shadow TC6 still a worthy choice?

I’d like to hear some opinions if the Shadow TC6 would still be a worthy choice in comparison to newer offerings in it’s category?
(2x18650 / 46mm reflector / under $50)

I was intrigued by this light when they first came out but never went for it, now I’m considering one.

Anyone know if or where a black color version can be purchased at a competitive price, like in this photo?

I actually only found 4 places that sell it online, but one was way overpriced.

This one may be black, not showing in color in description but it appears to be black in the photos:

I see wallbuys sells it (CW, Grey version)

I’d prefer neutral tint and at CNQG you have reflector and mode choice as well:

Hmmm. :~
Guess there’s not a lot of lights in that category, I noticed Shadow TC300 with U2 led but same lumen rating. I was thinking some contenders would be the Nitecore MT40/Jetbeam BC40. Can anyone mention a more recent entrant of a similar size/price?

To try and kickstart some discussion I’ll throw in another Shadow I was interested in a few years ago… TC500…

This single cell config w/SS tube always intrigued me as well:

It appears this light and “shorty” SS tube is still available from customlites.com Also costs less at CNQG but not sure they have the shorty SS tube.
Sure looks cool but I guess maybe the JM26 would be a better single cell option with its equal size reflector?
