Anyone has any experience with the DQG II?

It tickles in my fingers, I think I want it...

But is it any good? Compared to the iTP A3 R5 upgrade.

I mean, it's smaller, but what about light output (should be similar to the high/low). And they say 10 hours on low, but current draw is 25mA, so they either use crap batteries or they didn't measure the current very well.

Also - what is the "Glow dot on tail" option? Tritium or just a GITD dot?

Looks like a nice light, a bit pricey for a keychain light, but if the output and runtime are good might be worth it.

I've got one on the way. The tail has a GITD dot. It was supposed to have a trit but it was a miscommunication. The whole development of it has been pretty... uhh... interesting.

A Greek friend (group order / 17 flashlights) made a mini review (with photos) here:

Also, he wrote a few words on the CPF/LED (which is DOWN for the moment)

To sum up, it's an EXTREMELY small one, about 60 OTF, decent quality.

35 bucks for this one? No way

People seem to be satisfied with their light over at cpf. Build quality is sufficient from what have read. It seems to be the cheapest stainless steel AAA neutral flashlight in production. It is a bit expensive for a AAA light to be considered budget though.

I've read that certain AAA like the Duracell will not work due to the + terminal not making contact with the circuit board. There are some IC chips on the bottom side of the circuit board which prevent some batteries from making contact. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@flame2000: You are correct. The maker is adding a contact disk on the head to resolve the issue. I might pick one up later, but I still think it is best to wait until all possible issues have been resolved.

Apparently the battery "issue" has been corrected.
