18500 & 14500.

Good morning all:

I’ll be brief.

I need this batteries for vaping.

My mechanical mods in this battery
types can’t raise the voltage.

I posted this question in the vaping forum
and can’t get people to point me in the right
direction.

I don’t want Hi Drain. (AWs eFests Xtars etc)
although it won’t hurt. They are not high capacity.

I want the most True highest Capacity
in this types of batteries.

Please, help.

Your kind and valued comments will
be highly appreciated.

Thank you all,

Carlos.

Carlos, it sounds like you are saying you want:

  1. to maintain a high voltage across your discharge
  2. to have a high capacity

is that correct?

Sanyo:
UR18500F 1700 mAh
UR14500P 840 mAh

I have both and am very happy with them. They have the highest capacity that I know of.

Where did you post your question about those batteries?

You don't want to use anything less than high drain IMR's

I rock Efest in all my vaping gear...those are probably the lowest you want to safely run

I know this is a budget flashlight forum...but here is my current aresenal minus a few other smaller rigs that I got on a whim

The mechanicals in the middle run 18500's w/ a kick

Head over here for a GREAT vaping community that will help you out for sure...search out Baditude for ALL your battery questions

20 year smoker..now

Hi All’

A- WighT . right. You hit the nail in the head.
B- Alan D: You have replied my question.
C-Warhawk AVG: impressive collection. Congratulatios!!.
But yet again, you’re steering me to MIRs when I want ICRs.

Thank you all for your kind replies.

Carlos.

ICR's are not safe for vaping

Please...read a bit

Thank you for your input about this vaping forum!!!
I’ll check it ASAP.
I’m a bit ahead in the saving though.

45 yrs as a cigar smoker.
Last one 11 month ago.
Those stooges are expensive. Savings of over 7k.
Best part I can vape in the house. All day&night.
Wacht games in its entirety, etc, etc, ect.
Keep it up!!!.

Carlos

WarHawk-AVG, what is that camo vamo? it’s a skin?

elbakan1, do you own a VV/VW mod? Take the Vamo for example, it have built in protection (and protected batteries won’t fit anyway) and you have the power that you want.

Hi Le_Zouave,

I have a Vamo 5 now and a Sigelei Legend in transit.
Have a full mechanical mod that can take 18500 & 650s No circuit.
Also waiting for a 14500 mechanical.
Plus the “run of the mill” 1300mAh passthrus and adjustables voltage
we all started with.

Next project: Provari Mini. What’s your opinion?

Carlos.

PS, We’re totally off forum & off topic.

As long as we’re happy!!.

Carlos.

Yes, custom skin from vaporskinz, he made me the digital for regular price

All provari are top of the line, the mini is just one that runs on 18350's rather than full size 18650's (they do have extensions)

You can't go wrong with a provari and they stand by their product

Let say that Provari is the Nitecore of the vaping gear. Joytech is Fenix (for me Fenix is slightly better quality than nitecore).
But they are not budget.
The Vamo is like Ultrafire, many times copied that you can’t say what which one is genuine but in the end you can’t tell what’s the benifit to be genuine on that brand. Way cheaper than provari and let you vary your voltage or wattage the same. It’s like someone that just bought a Fenix light top dollar and you show him a Convoy S2 with a good emitter and driver.
A mecanical mod is like a P60, you can change the tube, the atomizer (the drop in module) and make the combinasion that you like but it’s unregulated that’s why battery safety is important in mecanical mod. If you are a newbie in vape, don’t go in mecanical mod, it will explode to your face.

For the sigelei legend it’s nice like the vamo but shaking in order to change the settings, come on it’s a joke. My brother have it and I laugh when he carefully incline his sigelei on the right or the left…
I started with a 510 atomizer and 510 battery, you may wonder why they called the standard thread 510, it’s because of that one, not long later the eGo battery was considered as a big big battery for 510…

Good morning,

War-hawk: I registered in e-cigs forum last night.
Thank you for your input.

Also read the links you kindly sent me.
Up to the 2nd 1.

And I quote: ” Unprotected battery is a vague term”.
” the PCB circuit does not warranty a battery has protection”.

This statements are either to profund for
my limited brain capacity.
Or my OCD is at work yet again.

Unprotected batteries are those without PCBs.
Protected batteries are those with PCBs.
To me, that’s a given.

BTW, he(they) are not totally against ICRs.
The only warning I read is about sub-ohms mods.
Not gonna happen with me. Ever.
And having a bottom switch mechanical mod.
Not of my liking either.

I believe I will learn tons of GOOD info about
e-cigs in your forum. Hence my registration.

THANK YOU!!!. For your guidance. I’m happy.

Le_Zouave:

I consider the Vamo 5 a workhorse.
whether authentic or not.

My reasoning for buying the the Sigelei
is for the # of puffs and sitting time.
I don’t believe the inclination part from them.
(The manufacturer’s). Yours, of course.
If it does that, I’m happy.
I don’t change the WV/WW much,
so I’m good with it.
And the display (hopefully is big enough for
my dimming eyes.) Another plus.

THANK YOU for your VERY clear analogies.
Gotcha!.

Let’s all enjoy the weekend now.
In health and harmony.
With love and money.
(the root of all evils, haha,
for those without it, hehe).

Be good, Carlos.
