Where else can I find them other than Shenzhen Great Wall? It will be better if it comes as a host.
I have decided to stick to S2 host instead, as I prefer S2 tailcap than new S2+ version. All I need is to pop in my spares LED and driver into it.
This is BLF - it damn near rains S2s around here (and rightly so!)
I guess it depends what part of the world you’re in - if you’re in North America, I’d start with RMM, who post here regularly.
If you’re in Asia, I doubt there’s a flashlight marketer of any size who doesn’t sell them

The S2+ really exist. It’s a S2 that have less fin on his head but don’t give him a real number. I think I see one on aliexpress.
S2 is the star of convoy with the C8, but the S2+ is another model.
I guess it is not out yet. But I am able to find at SZ Ali and tabao. Hope more sellers will import this new model.
It has a deeper pill design. I find it really a good improvement. I will probably place order from Ali.
I get the feeling it’s something Simon came up with.

Shenzhen Great Wall is Simon. For me the S2+ has a similar design as the UF2100. The Uniquefire or Ultrafire (both are the same, only with a different name on it) has a SS bezel, not a 7135 driver and only a XM-L T6. It is possible to built everything into the UF2100, but this is much more expensive as the S2+ with the reduced price of $14,92 at the moment (the price ends in 7 hours).

If you want not only 1050mA or another LED you have to note this.
I think in fact it is. It’s simply the S2 host as linked above, with an XM-L2 instead of XM-L, on a Alu base and Nanjg 105C driver, and given the ‘plus’ to denote it is XM-L2. Due to the fact the ‘+’ is on the tube, I think it was Convoy’s idea, not Simon’s.
I’d still prefer to buy the S2 host from the link, then get an XM-L2 emitter of my choice, copper Noctigon base, and Qlite driver from IOS, and have a better light in the end irrespective of whether the tube as a ‘+’ sign stenciled on it.

Different tail design, different pill, no fins, 1cm shorter.
More like S3 with detachable head.
That’s odd. As he’s offering it with the same emitter and driver spec’s that the original S2 host supports, I wonder how they changed them.
Simon also told me he could not ship via ePacket when what he really meant was he didn’t want to change shipping methods in order to be able to ship via ePacket. It makes you wonder a bit….
