i saw the $5 off mastercard promotion for new member at aliexpress, so i created a new account to get the coupon.
i didn’t get a code or anything, but i do see the coupon in my account. and the condition is that i need to order $25 or more and pay by mastercard.
now when i place an order (2 items from two different sellers, total $34), i see a place to enter coupon code, but since i didn’t get a code, so i moved on to the next step. and now i am at the page where i enter my mastercard number, but i still don’t see any discount apply to my order.
so has anyone use this coupon b4?? anyone know what to do?
well, i just figure it out. guess i am gonna answer my own question in case someone has the same problem.
the problem was, my order total is $34 but the individual order to each seller is less than $25 so the coupon didn’t shows up when i clicked apply coupon.
i tried ordering a single item that is $25+ and the coupon shows up when i click apply coupon.
another thing, there is 500 mastercard promotion coupon each day for new member only, the coupon shows up as a link in any aliexpress page u visit IF the 500 coupon quota hasn’t been reached for that day.
however, if u already have an aliexpress account, it would not show when u visit the site. but u can still get the coupon link if u clear the cookies in your browser, or turn on the privacy setting in your browser, so that the site doesn’t recognize u as a return visitor. when u see the promo link, click on it and create a new account with a new email address and u can get your coupon. hope this help
Thanks for the head’s up. I has me wondering if perhaps their system is sophisticated enough to recognize your name and/or credit card, or maybe even your IP address and then politely tell you to go pound sand. (You could get around the latter by using a Proxy service, but changing your name and address may be a bit of a problem for getting your orders paid and shipped.).

You are right that the coupon first shows up in the confirmation screen (where you select address), but for the coupon to be shown, it has to be applied to the item from one seller that is at least $25, not to multiple items in the whole cart, as you and I had thought.
Also, the coupon should be listed under “My AliExpress > My Coupons” and should be “Valid” before use.
Here are the coupon details that should appear under “My Coupons”:
Save US $5 when you spend US $25 or more with MasterCard
US $5.00
From:MasterCard_Everyday_Saving
Only used on one order value ≥ US $25.00 , and may only be used when paying with MasterCard
The banner at the top of the page, saying “Coupon > New member! Save US $5 when you spend US $25 or more with MasterCard Get my coupon now”, is for $5 off $25.
The banner at the bottom, where you enter your email address, sends you an email with a registration link for a $5 off $50 coupon: “Your US 5 Coupon may be used on any order US 50 or more (including shipping).”
When you register, you might want to be sure which registration method you are using.
