Any suggestions for a diving thrower under 60$ ?

Hi there:)

Do you have any suggestions for a diving light under 60$?
I need it to be a good thrower.

Battery and dive time is not important for me…

Thanks !!

> LusteFire DV-08 (WB, Ali, WF, SW) - not a dedicated thrower, but from shear output I think this will do well.

> Brinyte DIV08 (MIC, Ali) (in US: bladeHQ, KC) - from the Made-in-China site at the bottom of the page it shows two LED options - If you have a choice ask for the XM-L2, Cree's 2nd generation of the XM-L emitter.

Ansi rated: 700lm; beam distance: 235m; intensity: 13800cd (from here or PDF manual). Most lumen numbers tossed around are completely exaggerated, but this is real lumen and candela ratings.

This is Brinyte's newest dive light. I have the Brinyte DIV05 and it has more output than my canister light or my buddy's Hollis 16W canister light (cf. DIV05 review).

Thank you very much for you suggestions!
I have sent a message to Brinyte, as I couldn’t find any shop with shipping information.

I have a small question about Brinyte flashlights, have you ever tried to disassemble the reflector?
I usually change the led in my flashlight to a warm white light (2700k), do you think it will be possible on the Brinyte one?

Thanks!

I talked with Brinyte management and received this response, though I suspect these numbers were done in-house and not by a third party.

I was wrong. The DIV04 is a better thrower - 19.2 kcd (cd = candela)

buy: (Ali, MIC). Securitylng (same thing, different name): (ePathChina, Amzn, Ali)

I always found the bezels to be glued tight. Never got one off, and I've tried with strap wretches.

Edit: Packhorse was able to get the bezel off his DIV05... he converted it to a video light. (CPF)
