Has anyone used LSD NiMH C or D cells?

I just noticed that D (and C) cell low-self-discharge NiMH are available, and was curious if anyone has used them in a maglite mod yet?  Any experiences?

Thanks Bob.  I've never seen LSD in anything other than AA/AAA format before, and was hoping they scaled without random, shall we say, 'uncontrolled thermal issues'?

Anyways, I'm thinking of putting together a flashlight that 'looks like a proper flashlight, dammit' for someone who I don't quite trust with lithium batteries.

Again, thanks for the quick reply!

No issues with my 8000mAh LSD Ds. The Cs (same branding) don't seem to be so good. No idea who made them, they are branded by the retailer i bought them from very cheap - they got them in at silly high prices and nobody seemed all that interested, they periodically appear at clearance prices.

The Cs don't like the 15A my Varapower asks for from them.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.
