Blue micro mag for sale (2.8 amp XM-L U2 (SOLD)

For sale is a blue micro mag sporting 2.8 amp XM-L U2 internals. I prefer to make my micro mags by cutting the center of the tube and connecting it to the forward threads via the human lathe method. I do it this way because I prefer to have some smooth tube near the tailcap before getting into the knurling. The seam is hidden under the head and I really think the flashlight has a more balanced look with the knurling in the center of the light. There is a small copper pin at the seam to ensure electrical conductance. The o-ring groove by the forward threads is left intact.

The head of this little beauty has been drilled out to accept a p60 pill. The guts consist of a p60 pill topped with an XM-L U2 emitter of unknown tint and driven with a nanjg AK-47A plus five 7135 chips for 2.8 amps. Emitter and driver are connected with shortest possible lengths of 22 AWG silicone wire.

The driver is set for L-M-H and is isolated from the pill with kapton tape. The emitter can be fully driven with an IMR 14500 battery (not included). The pill is wrapped in aluminum strips for a tight press fit. The TIR optic is the clear 15 degree from Fasttech.

Price is $35.00 shipped CONUS. Shipping within CONUS is included in the price. International buyers will pay actual shipping minus the cost of CONUS shipping. First thread response of “I’ll take it” followed by an IM gets the light. Reasonable offers are considered.

Payment will be via Paypal.
