Thanks! Just bought some 10mm Sinkpads for some tiny persoanl side projects I've been working on... been adding copper under the factory aluminum stars but I'm still smoking the emitters (XP-E) after a while with DD Efest 14500s. Hopefully this will add a bit of life!
That sounds like a pretty neat little light, do you have pictures of it in another thread.
These copper sink pads, how do they compare with noctigon? I’m assuming these are better, has anyone compared the two?
It is just one of the cheap $2 AA/14500 zoomies that I made direct drive and stuck an IMR cell in, nothing too fancy! I think that heat transfer wise they are probably virtually equal, but Noctigon isn't available in 10mm! The pads are closer to the edge of the Sinkpads as well, which can be a benefit in some lights depending on the reflector design.
+1 I found out the hard way... That's why I'm ordering SinkPAD's. On the 16 mms, space between +/- pads is 11.25 mm while on the 16 mm Noctigons, it's 10.0 mm.
I would like to order several different types. Is there a way to combine different types into one order to so that only one shipping fee is charged?

If any Aussies are interested in these, Ill split post with you and order in one lot. We can send these in a folded card (stop envelope tearing in sorting machines etc) for $0.55 IIRC. Will hold off until last day to order just in case someone might be interested.
Im going to order a couple of each, no idea why, but Im going to anyway. Would I be right in saying the 16mm suit P60 such as L2* SFs? And the 20mm might be suitable for a HD2010. The 10’s for the AA size lights? Im aware of the different footprint for want of a better word of the emitters themselves.

Hey Filament, i’m interested in 1 xm-l and 1 xp-g 10 mm sinkpads. I’m in perth, wa. How much do you think that would be in AUD?
Right now the conversion rate (Paypal rate I assume) is showing me $3.28 for two. The llisting has the same price on all of them, size, led type, all the same price. You only want two, postage stamp is $0.55, I has envelopes and I should be able to find some card here somewhere to cut up, Weetbix box maybe.
$3.83(AUD) if my maths is right. I dont mind covering the postage to Aus, as Ill be buying about 12 or so for myself.
Edit: As Im new to the forum too, as an act of good faith Im happy to cover it until they arrive at your door. Well, provided its not a couple of hundred dollars worth. I cant imagine theres that many Aussies here that will want some, and will post between now and tomorrow, I should be fine.
Can I assume from the printing on the boards that Bridgelux SM4 and XML* have the same footprint? Likewise the XPG* and Nichia?
