I know nothing about diving but just looking at beam shots it looks like the single XMLs would be good. Their much bigger lumen output makes alot of difference at these shorter distances. They appear to give good range plus beam width which I’m guessing you’d need under water, and would retain good runtime. I don’t think the triple XML lights with single batts would last too long.
Does the centerline of that road lead into the grass?
