I’ve been lurking here lately and decided to join the forum and order the NW version as well. Looking forward to receiving it and seeing how it compares to my ZL SC52w and H52Fw.

don’t mean to sound pissy, but can this driver be pencil modded to lose the mode memory?

If you can’t blind them with your brilliance, baffle them with your bullcrap.

Has anyone got an e-mail or confirmation that their light has sent?

I think mine was one of the first orders, & it has not shipped yet. Original post says “Estimated manufacturing time is about one week,” so hopefully it will be any day now! OTOH, the GB ends on 3/15, so perhaps they’re waiting until the 15th to start making the whole run of lights?

I could have swore someone already mentioned that if your payment went through PayPal it went through for your purchase as well.  Pretty much standard operating error for CNQG.

The pencil mod solves next-mode memory, it doesn't disable a driver with memory.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Think of it as a conversation starter. Just look at all the conversation it's started.

I don’t think they’ll ship it in a week. Last time it took longer.

Take it easy, Bort :D!
If youre not registered, then I can sort of understand your fears of this error, but registered users can go to their account and check their order status and see true order status :).

Did anybody try to contact Ric regarding estimated arrival time? Should we expect 1 week delivery time from placing an order or from end of Group Buy?
