[Bike Lamp] Where to get good 8.4V battery pack at reasonable price?

Found a nice deal at for Solarstorm X2 at Ali that I intent to purchase. Now I need pair it with a good 8.4V battery pack with a reasonable price tag. Any recommendation?

Initially, I want to get a cheap clone that runs in 2x18650. So I do not have to buy additional unknown brand batteries and charger.

Did not know this these are also available.

I would love to try out these dedicated headlamps but getting separate batteries and chargers is really pain in the A.

Currently, I am using C8/ L2N for biking.

do you have the link to those Panasonics battery pack?

Some people are using their own 18650's in a Pannovo battery case like this one at DX. Also sold through Newegg. I have one on order from DX, but it's taking them forever to obtain the items for shipping!

I saw that same SolarStorm X2 clone but think it may have a stupid driver (left LED on, right LED on, both LED's on, both flashing, two alternating flashing,). I did like the idea of it's battery case though.

Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com There seem to be some discrepancy between the pic and actual product description.

Thanks Garrybunk. I was hoping for such holder too. I will consider getting from DX then.

Yup, it will require a bit of mod for the red clone. Alternating flashing has higher visibility. LoL.

I´ve been using a custom made one, with a standard 2s holder, and a piece of cable. this new holder with your batts is the way to go, IMO

I have the Pannovo from DX and am happy with it so far. It allows me to use 4 batteries with my Fenix BT-20.

What about the cable connector? Compatible to all or model dependent?

The connector is a standard 5.5 mm female. For my BT-20 I had to get a male to male adapter.

Here is another option sold at fasttech. More expensive, but comes with batteries for whatever it is worth and claims to have protection circuit. This doesn’t say Water Resistant, but the Pannovo linked earlier by Garry says it is.

Hmm . . . never saw that one, thanks for the link!

Fire cells…

But they're "trust"-fires; you can "trust" them. :)

Trust the impending fire.

I just asked a coworker who has the light. He says that in low / medium, both LEDs are on.

The also sell a Trustfire triple XML-2 bike light using this same battery pack for about $50. Not too many detailed reviews, but the pictures look good.

of all my bike light… nothing is brighter than my SkyRay S6… even though it’s only have 3 LEDs but it’s a lot brighter than all my other bike lights… ( I have 8 of them… don’t ask me why  )
speaking of that… I think I might do spring cleaning on them

Pics?

More clones 2 emitter version

Most probably undriven but you are able to use your existing batteries within.
