I don’t know when I’ll get to 1000 posts. If/when I do, I’ll do a proper giveaway. But in the meantime, I am giving away a P60 drop-in made entirely from salvaged parts.
All of the parts for this “Frankendrop-in” were salvaged from other builds and none of the parts came from the same source. The LED came from Illumination Supply (Nichia 219), the driver came from DX (AK47), the pill came from Kaidomain, and the reflector came from Fasttech. The pill and reflector actually come from different style drop-ins, and are slightly mismatched. The result looks a little banged up and patched together but it works!

I have seven more but not at home. I have also given away a few to family and friends. My two favorites were gifts from two great BLF members. One from Canada and one from Australia.
My favorite lights are p60 lights. The L2T with L2D head on the far left/top required quite a bit of screwing on and off with strap wrenches to get the aluminum to mold into each other. The threading was a bit different.
I have a SF L2M… and no drop-ins at all! (I’m waiting on a UV drop-in from kaidomain)

Truth be told, this was more just an excuse to get people to post pics of their hosts. It's been awhile since we've had a "show your P60's" thread.
It's just too bad that intl shipping is so expensive these days. Otherwise, I would to have opened it up to everyone. Some of the best P60 collections seem to be owned by non-US members.
My 502B clone cheapie I got off the ebay deal. I’ve added selectively some GITD vinyl sticker material to the right places and feed it a diet of A123 18650s.
The one on the right is a 3xAA mini mag I did up with the old solarforce l2r head carefully attached (JB weld is good stuff) after some careful (lucky) measurements. Too bad they don’t make that body any more. And don’t look TOO close at my lathe work, I’m a work in progress.
On the left is my first “good” flashlight, that’s been through so many changes I can’t even count. It currently sports the triple Nichia 219 from EDC+/Illuminationsupply and a McClicky in the original tailcap and a salvaged 18650 that I got from a laptop pack. I would have been a lot more angry about the death of that laptop if I didn’t see the silver lining of a bunch of nice batteries….
