20 NEW Panasonic CGR18650CH 3.6V 10A 2250mah Li-Ion Battery - $48 - USA Shipped - $2.40 per cell - Price increased!

Deal Link: Panasonic CGR18650CG Rechargeable 3.6V Li-ion Battery 2250mAh New!

Update: Seller has raised price, and not sure what he will take anymore for 10 or 20 cells.

and Spec sheet: Panasonic CGR18650CG Spec Data Sheet

Auction is for 10 cells, but make him a Best Offer of $24 for 2 sets for $48 total and he should accept or counter at $25 for each set of 10.

Comes out to $2.40-$2.50 per cell

He does have another Best Offer for 50 cells for $150, but I am betting he will take $100 for it, but I don't need that many or want to spend that much!

If you look at his auctions that end, they usually go for more than $2.50 for each cell.

As a side note here's what happened:

1. I offer him $20 each for 2 sets of 10 cells - $40 total for 20 cells

2. He counters with $25 each for 2 sets - $50 total for 20 cells

3. I counter with $21.50 each for 2 sets - $43 total for 20 cells

4. He counters with $24 each for 2 sets - $48 total for 20 cells

5. I counter with $23.00 each for 2 sets - $46 total for 20 cells - Third and final offer! I cannot submit any offers after this.

6 He declines my offer.

My only option at that point was to purchase the 10 cells for $40 each! No thank you!

I went to one of the sellers other Buy it Now or Best offer auctions for "4 - CGR28650CG cells, and submitted an offer for $9.60 for 5 sets of 4 cells for $48 total.

He gracefully accepted.

Got 10. Now I can keep more of my lights staged and ready to go

When these come in, I’ll run a couple through my West Mountain battery analyzer to verify their capacity.

10 for $40 = $4/cell… hmm DX protected 2600mAh 2 for $ 8.36 = $4.18/cell which I think is the better deal
http://www.dx.com/p/genuine-sanyo-18650-2600mah-rechargeable-battery-with-protection-board-red-pair-121447#.UzS4V4WKQrw

and if you order more than 3 pairs the price is even cheaper… got me 4 more pairs of these

No, not $40 for 10. You need to submit a Best Offer to the seller, which will be alot cheaper than his "Buy It Now" price.

Like I said, I offered him $24 for 2 units of the 10 cells, and he accepted.

Just offer him $20 for 10 and see what he counters with, then offer $22.50, and he should counter again. Best bet is to accept the 2nd offer he gives you! If he offers you a good deal, go for it!

As for you DX deal, I guess if you don't mind waiting a 2-6 months for the batteries, then sure, it's not a bad deal. I don't buy from DX anymore, due to there ultra-slow shipping and terrible, no.. horrible customer service, time it takes to ship, item out of stock after ordering, habitual lying, etc...

Also to get

is that $48/20 cells including shipping?
do you have the link to ebay seller 4 cell?

The big blue line of text in the first post is the link.
I paid $28 for 10 cells free shipping. Seemed like a great deal for a USA seller with 100% feedback. I’ll probably have these cells in my hands before DX would even get around to sending theirs out.

lol… that’s for sure :stuck_out_tongue:

I sent my offer and see if he will accept it, if I get it… I’ll built a big battery pack for my bike light

Hehe, that's the only reason I wanted these cells as well, to build a nice, big 16x18650 18000mah 7.2V battery pack for my bike light, and use the other 4 as spares :)

Well, that was fast. Got the cells today in the mail. Only 1.5 days from the time I ordered from Utah to Texas. Nice! Each cell measures EXACTLY 3.63V on the DOT! I have put them in all my 18650 lights and they work perfectly. Now just need a way to gauge there exact capacity.

Anyways, looked up your battery analyzer, and umm, ya that's way out of my price range. Maybe you can recommend an affordable battery analyzer under $30?

they didn’t take my offer… they didn’t even counter offer :_(

Must have gotten tired of all them bargain hunting BLF-ers… :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe you tried to lowball the seller too much, lol. I would watch one of the sellers auctions if I were you. They go for only $2 on the weekends from what I watched. I saw one of the sellers auctions end with 25 of these cells for $50 shipped.

Or go to one of his other best offer auctions and offer a slightly higher price per cell. There is a deal to be had with this seller though.

That, or he has caught on to us BLF'ers making him low offers.

Price is 50

Make offer is still there.

Thanks my phone does not show make offer option

Not to rain on the parade but I don’t like the looks of what I think may be the Charge Date Code on the OP ebay listing. It starts with an 8, as in 2008, IF the research I did on them for NCR18650Bs holds. E.g. “8521” would = May 21, 2008 IF my research WRT NCR18650B date code is correct & applicable to these cells.

You can google around for this and/or poke around for ebay listings that dare show both a cell’s code AND box’s Date / Charge Date they are coming from, e.g.:
example listing of random Panasonic cell
But its possible I’m wrong about this e.g. as noted the storage charge on them seems correct & they appear to be working well for y’all.

No you are correct, the date code in the pics are the same date code on the batteries I received. Still these batteries seem very good to me so far putting them in my SRK and TM26. They are new, old stock batteries from 2008 but work just as good as my new 2013 Panasonic NCR18650B 3400 so far. I haven't run any official test, but these definitely don't feel like crappy cells to me. Will update once I properly gauge the runtime in my SRK.

I offered the same amount as you suggested $20/10 hoping for a counter offer, but he didn’t even bite the first offer.
Oh well… I have too many batteries anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

There is an auction of his ending in 55 minutes an its only at $30 for 20 cells, and another for 18 cells going for only $22 if you want, I would place a bid in the last 5 seconds for $45 max on the 20 cell or $40 max on the 18 cell! You just might win for even less and get it for even less than I posted! I would bid on it but now I have alot of batteries, and then some! Actually, I might just have to get a few more, never know when I might need them!

Here is all the sellers ending auction CLICK HERE!

I received my 10 cells today. Also received an assortment of different 18650 cells and a new Efest Luc V4 charger from Mountain Electronics. It’s a good day
I have 12 cells charging right now. I’m not going to have time tonight to do any capacity tests, but I should be able to do several tomorrow and I’ll post the graphs here.
