anyone own either of these?

looks interesting
also does anyone have this one

sorry couldnt get the images

I don't care for lights with that sort of charging port, the cover always ends up flopping around.

Kind of a small diameter for a zoomie.

Normally I don't like zoomies, but I like this one.

cool looking… but better save your money and get Sipik SK98 . it’s among favorite budget zoomie for less than $10

Nice find Leaftye… it’s beautiful zoomie  at budget price

i was going for the pocket fitting form factor. my sk=68 has ripped 2 pair of blue jeans because of the way it’s built

I’m always on the lookout for small AA lights to EDC or gift. I bought one of the gold, side switch ones from a different vendor on ebay for under 4 bucks and it was delivered today. For all I know there may be different versions, but the one I got will NOT light with a AA alkaline and will light with a 14500, but even then is not very bright. Typical small bright center spot and diffused spill. I haven’t bothered to get a tailcap reading yet. I emailed the vendor and haven’t heard back yet. There are a few O rings, but generally not impressed, and the port on the side will be a pita. I would hold off until we get some positive reviews. I’ll let you know what the vendor says.

ZACHARUSKI, I am guessing that zoomie weighs about as much as a extra large paper clip in the morning. Probably coated in lead and emitting radiation from Fukushima. Not to be harsh, but personally, I wouldn’t give one as a gift. It could reflect poorly on you. Unless of course you are planning to give it to a Inlaw or ex wife. Thats between you & your local laws. :stuck_out_tongue:

Haters gonna hate

This one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zoom-CREE-Q5-XPE-260-Lumen-LED-Tactical-Police-Mini-Flashlight-14500-Gray-Torch-/221311612378?pt=US_Flashlights&var=&hash=item33873335da looks like another light inspired by this one 3-mode Zoom AA/1450 EXPIRED ! "Black" $1.99 Max 3ea, which appears to be intended for large production and inspired by the SK-68. These seem to me to be excellent choices, except for hard core flashlight collectors, who want more light output and more uniqueness.
Zoomies are great in crowded areas, where a light with spill would blind or irritate other around.
I look at lights as I do at pottery. I want evidence of hand workmanship, or at least methods suited to limited production, and I want creativity. But I realize that the average person prefers something from Target that fits in a small space and is easy to replace when you break or lose it.
