hi Jane, thanks for another giveaway! Some inconsistancy: he third giveaway was the fenix AAA headlight, but the link for the third winner at 50 posts does not go to the fenix-light, but to some 'Smilsun' light. Is that correct?

Thanks for the contest but I see couple of problems in the way it is. You didn’t restrict making multiple posts. Post number can be manipulated by making multiple entries and deleting own posts. Whats wrong with the good old random? :wink:

You can either set a deadline (time and date) when everyone should enter, or limit it by number of total entries. Than choose 3 random winners from the entrants (using random.org for example). That would be fair to everyone.

nr10? I will probably mod it with a better led, possibly a Nichia 219B, then give it away.

EDIT: yes, I don't like this number system either, i'd be happy to skip this and change it to a random.org thing: how about that jane?

The post number system worked fine there. Just take a screenshot picture when a winning post comes up if your worried.

I don’t think its good to completely change rules after a contest has started. Like to a winner picked by random.

Just prohibit double posts. And we can all take screenshot pictures of the thread to prevent anything else.

Prohibiting double posts would also imply that you can only win one of the three givaways in this thread, and also that you need 50 different people responding to get to the last givaway.

Only double consecutive posts are normally considered “double posting”. :crown:
