TANK007 E3 Cree Q5-WC Stainless Steel

This is something different from Tank.....i like the look of it but its beyond budget dont you guys think.  In the specs it says that its Mil-Spec Hard Anodized, of course it is duh....its made out of steel...lol.

Too expensive!  I'm happy with my Ultrafire C3 Stainless.  I also love my Tank007 TK-566-5 if anyone is looking for a nice cheap Tank AA.

It looks like a stainless C3 with extra grooves. But it would have to be really special at nearly 3x the price of the C3 stainless steel. It is using the longer body of the Aurora rather than the shorter body of the original C3. It is using an XR-E so it probably is very similar to the original C3 stainless steel. Pity about the price. It says 700mA to the emitter, Sadly, sku 26122 (The C3 stainless) doesn't say how hard it drives its emitter but I suspect harder than that. Which makes the lumens claims of one or the other (or both) of them plain wrong. Given the same emitter from the same bin, and the same internals, you aren't getting 230 lumens from one and 190 from the other. Especially as I'm pretty sure the C3 used to claim an amp through the emitter.

Having a close look at the pics, the reflector seems to have been tweaked. And, since it is a Tank007, you get a nice box.

For the price, it had better be really, really good.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

Now that's something that looks good to me but then again most stainless steel lights do.
