Driver from Fenix E15

5 amp DUP-S5 from lck-led

LD-34 (Stock driver from BTU shocker)

Half ruined Flex Asgard bluetooth driver (comes with thermal pad, contact board, BT antenna wire. If you are smart "fix" this with a hammer or take off useful parts)

A 6-18V driver from Lightscastle. Supposedly 3A. More like 2,5A after a little resistor mod.

17mm 5 mode driver from KD, peak output up towards 2,6A (with a typical panasonic cell).

Driver circuit from a TR-J18 (2 cell 2A+?)


Lots of emitters

Lots of CW XM-Ls. Some XP-Gs, one NW 80+ CRI XB-D 3C on a crappy mcpcb. Some emitters does not come with mcpcb. I have XM/XP mcpcbs.. 10+ emitters total

If you don't need these for lights. It can be nice to have spare emitters for bench setup, testing, practicing reflows, dedoming projects etc.....

Although, I was not too impressed by it.. The "crappy mcpcb" is a cut a bit badly in order to make it a tad smaller than stock..

Cool!

I can warn you and others though.. Its not really 5 amp.. Maybe if you have 4,2v input from a powersupply.. I have not used it much, but I think that I liked the 3A version better.

Its a long time since I tested /used these, but with the 3 amp version you have better mode spacing if I recall correctly. Might be because the 5amp version does not give you full output at 5Amp, but medium still remains medium, so they end up being closer. Lower might have been higher on the 5 amp version too.

There is a little row with resistors on these drivers, so it looks like it easy to convert from 3A to 5A or 5A to 3A.

Something the winner can play with if he/she wants to. :)
