Streamlight's new 3600 lumen "flashlight"

A probably much cheaper “12 x XM-L” light from Trustfire would likely give the same or better performance at less the cost.

You think I’ll look silly taking the dog for a walk with this

And a lot more portable.

Is kicking the railway tracks the correct way of testing?

It has a built in tripod though

SK9800

I wouldn’t mind having one. The base and telescoping arm are nice for hands free lighting, the run time is huge, and the flood/throw reflector switching is nice.

how much is the thousand dollar question

Very hefty price. The MSRP: $999.00

At LA Police Gear: $619.99

Danko Emergency Equip: $534.00
.

I was accurate to 0.1%

If you have to ask, you can’t afford it…

i knew that the minute i clicked on the thread

Looks like it’s price regulated at $619.95.

I could use one, but wow.

The concept is good and the runtime is great, but it weighs 11.3kg and listed at $999?

+1 on kicking the tracks to test it.

The only things that look interesting to me are the head. reflector switching and mode selection all in one. the base is interesting too

Perhaps the guy was kicking the clamp down sets, looking for loose tie downs or spikes. Reckon he knows his job better than I do, with all that light on him and the video rolling he should know to look busy right?

price is all wrong.

MSRP ~$22,000 USD, as 90% of their sales will be to the US Government (as is even indicated in the video), and they like to waaay overspend on things.

you’re probably pretty close, have to pay for all the red tape don’t ya know!
