This is my 500th post GAW thread, I will be giving away one light and one ready to install driver. (light still being chosen [expect a single emitter/single 18650 light tho that may be totally off, I'll just have to see what sounds fun], driver will be a fully built and pre-programmed BLF15, 17 or 20DD [winners choice]). Again the driver will be drop in, no work necessary except stick it in your host and solder leads to your LED, not a "kit.

the rules-

1. MUST BE IN THE US OR WILLING TO PAY ACTUAL SHIPPING FROM THE US!

I said this last contest and an international guy won and I ended up shipping on my dime anyway cause I felt bad, this time I can't do that so unless you have the funds and can PayPal me ASAP either don't enter of don't cry when I only give you 24 hours before redrawing. Shipping to CONUS +3 winners is on me.

Anyone [remember rule 1] can enter the drawing for the light but only people who CAN NOT build and flash their own drivers may enter for the driver. I love these drivers, the 17DD is my personal favorite, I want to get one in someone's light that cant built and program their own. You must specify when posting "I'm in" which drawing you're in (you CAN be in both) and experienced builders are encouraged to enter for the light, only the driver is restricted.

Since I'm not even sure on the light to give away I'm not going to set an end date just yet, for now let's plan on it running threw the first week of the month but that's not set in stone, it may be sooner than that so get in now. Also at some point there will be a chance to earn an extra entry by posting a picture of _see post 46, limited time only_, be sure to check back periodically to see when I announce what the picture has to be of to get that second entry. Again the two drawings are separate so mention in your post which one/both drawings you are enterin. When posted your additional entry will apply to both drawings your going for.

The third prize is again only for people who CAN NOT flash their own drivers, I am offering a USBASP programmer. If your going to enter this one please please be serious about starting flashing your own drivers if you win, I don’t want it to just sit, it can do that in a drawer here.

Im not sure if I can be in on the driver part of this giveaway. I never built one of those drivers. But I should be capable off, I think. Never flashed one either. But I have ordered the stuff to flash one. How that will work out is another story..

i did never flash a driver - no knowledge and no equipment…
but i would start with that!

i would put the driver in a HD2010 and want to use good Steps without disco.

-> since i live in Austria (jodel :D) i will paypay you the extra costs for shipping to Austria

RaceR86 I just called you out cause of your 3000+the post GAW lol.

So another light I’m considering is my warm white foursevens Quark QP2L-X burst mode. It’s been my EDC for awhile and its a great light but I’m moving on to an 18650 EDC. Would anyone be dissapointed if the light wasn’t a build I did but this instead? Not saying it is, I’m still thinking about it, just wondering your all opinion in that.

BTW feel free to converse it up, post count doesn’t matter in this contest.

Yes! Driver and programmer. (Willing to offer a little tutoring to the uninitiated?) I started to read the links from OldLumens request thread but without the equipment, it’s a little hard to conceptualize….

I don’t think anyone qualifies for the 2nd prize. Anyone can flash a driver. The trouble starts when you do it in public.
