I recently did a review of the new Thrunite T10 and a couple of members commented their desire for a group buy. I asked HKEquipment about a possible group buy on the T10 but I was told that supply of the T10 is currently hard to come buy.
HKEquipment did, however, offer a group buy on the T10TNW and T10TCW. So, if you’ve had your eyes on a T10T, here’s your chance to pick one up at a great price. There’s a minimum quantity of 15 in order for the group buy to proceed. Please PM me for the price, and please do not post the price here. Thanks guys.
update - Free shipping with tracking is included with the group buy. update - Here is a link to a review of the T10*S*.
By the way… anyone know how to post “8)” without the emoticon. update Thank you Toykeeper! You are very helpful.
I know that you have all been very patient, as it seems to have been a long time. Thankfully, HKequipment have graciously agreed to proceed with the Group Buy if there is a minimum of 10. So, we’re very close.
D’oh. I ordered one just a few hours before this thread was posted.
I hope “neutral white” means 4500K or so. I also hope the front part of the head can be removed to swap the emitter, since it’s a nice host and I’ll probably want to put a high-CRI LED in it eventually. And I hope the clip won’t bend out of shape from normal use.
BTW, to post an 8 and a ) together, the easiest way is to use the fancy “advanced” post editor instead of the basic one. I think that will allow you to bypass the automatic conversion into a smiley. Same thing for writing _the_'s name correctly.
However, there are workarounds in the basic post editor. To prevent interpretation of smileys, insert a null html tag in the middle. Or to prevent interpretation of the “textile” markup the site uses, add a special notextile tag. Here are examples of both:
8) is written as 8<!— —>)
_the_ is written as <notextile>the</notextile>
_the_ can also be written with double-equals as ==_the_==
Like I said ive not tried AA but what others have said is
Firefly stays the same, but medium and high are a lot brighter
I think the only reason thrunite dont recommend 14500 is because of heat
