Hey again BLF, the GAW forum is so addictive I'm at it again.
This time with more OSHPark boards. I have 6 BLF 10dd's [FET] and 9 Tiny10's [7135] BARE BOARDS, no components. (10dd not shared yet, get them here before you can buy them)
I probably have have more than people are going to enter so if you want one just post up. Note the 10dd's are the very first revision BEFORE the addition of the gate resistor (R3) they do still work however I am giving these away because I have 9 of the updated version with R3 So I'll never use these and I'll never use the 7135 version either.
USA only, simply post which one you want, if there isn't a ton of interest you'll get a couple, otherwise just one. I'll mail them in an envelope.
If there's enough available, could I get one of each? I'd like to install the FET version in a Trustfire Z2, but it'll probably fry the emitter, so I might have to build up the 7135 version. And that reminds me that while I've taken apart a Z2, I still need to post instructions for anyone that still wants to mod this little headlamp.
everything looks so complicated with all the resistors and chips. Finding the right resistors/diodes is doable, but how do i find the right processor? I would love to build one of these
But then why would I need this? (this question might sound annoying) but I am a huge DIY fan, and I just want to know what benefits do i get from DIY boards. Thanks
Thank you for the offer! I would love a BLF 10dd, and if the tiny10’s don’t all go, I could use one of those as well. I’ve never built a driver board before, but there’s a first time for everything, and I’m eager to learn.
Ok guys all the 10dd’s are definite spoken for however it’s no problem to attach a SOT-23 FET to a 7135 tiny10, it’s how I did it before WarHawk made the 10dd.
This is not my pic but I have personally done it this way numerous times (I’ve actually never built a tiny10 with 7135’s)
Unlike mr space man with his magic wand above I reflow them on the good ol’ cooktop. Solder paste with a tooth pick then heat them on the stove. On the other side I use paste again to stick the components in place then use the spade tip on my iron.
I’ve never yet had one even begin to separate, I’ve had 4 Noctigon’s peel (all from the same batch).
