I just noticed that Simon’s store is now empty. I sent him a private message 3 days ago in BLF and he did not answer…
Simon says his store is closed for seven days.

Only 7 days? Sounds good. Did he mention if things are all ok? First thing that came to mind was some serious issue may have come up in health or personal life.
No, no health or personal issues. It’s an Aliexpress system closure (not his choice). Will be business as usual in 7 days.

Good, thanks for the info. So that means that we can still buy things from him by sending him a PM?
Shouldn’t be a problem. He’s been responding to messages (sent through Aliexpress) Just cant browse the store and impulse buy what I don’t actually need, so this next seven days will be healthier for my wallet.
I think he lays low during the weekends usually though?
If it's true, hopefully he's not really the manufacturer of Convoy flashlights that he's claimed to be.
I don't think he ever claimed to be, though many folks got that impression. Besides, the 'Convoy' name is just something that gets slapped on existing designs that already existed under other names (or no-name OEM stuff).

Iirc, that claim was when he was doing the S8 giveaway. I suspect it was an error in language though.
You are not in China ,so you dont know what ultrafire exactly is .
Ok, Convoy is your brand. Does that mean that Convoy branded flashlights such as the Convoy S2+ are designed and assembled by you?
Thanks for your reply.
yes ,we assemble it
Is Convoy your brand?
YES
Duno if that’s true though…

“ assemble the flashlights “ not manufacture them from aluminum bar. That was / is my guess.
The question is, do all convoy lights pass through simon’s hands? Fasttech & all other shops pay simon for the Convoy flashlights they carry? Break it down to the flow of money.
Its suppose to be temporary.

The low mode should be lower.
I did chat with him just now and he said “problems with the system ,you can buy stuff in my store next week.”
You should change the title of this thread…unless you know for sure that he is out of biz. Maybe just put a ? at the end.
No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.

I did insist a lot to know if convoy is Simon’s brand and he said yes and he said they assemble the flashlights.
