Does anyone like traditional pattern Chinese folding knives?

In addition to SRM, and those types of more modern knives, Ive found out about the Chinese made Rough Rider knives...

There are mostly in traditional patterns, like "stockman", etc, but are well liked and Ive read very good quality for a budget knife.

About $10-$20USD shipped on Ebay...

I'm not a big slipjoint fan, but the Roughrider knives I've handled have all been pretty good quality.  As far as I know, they make Buck and CRKT's Chinese slipjoint lines.

I don't have any made by Tekut, but they have some similar looking knives in their Fashion Series.  Check out the last 8 knives on this page:

Some of those knives are available on DealExtreme:

These look nice, I like the traditional styling.  If they are decent quality, I would add them to the collection.

Frost Steel Warrior also looks like a brand worth considering, btw.

That's some eye candy, there.

raccoon city, those are some good prices on the Tekuts.  I'm not particularly fond of the Tekut logo in the middle of the scales, though.

Colt makes some excellent examples. I picked up a Colt SIG 6 Stockman Black Stag from ebay and am quite impressed with the quality. Its on par with SRM but with a much nicer polished finish.

^^That looks like a fine knife, beautiful.  I wonder who makes it, for real (I'm guessing not Colt Firearms).

Depends where it's made.  If it's the US, probably Case or Queen Cutlery.  If it's China, Rough Rider or Steel Warrior (how about that for a goofy name)

I should buy some of those knives and start calling myself Iron Chef. Smile  Seriously, they seem to make good knives.

Update: Just won a RR green gunstock stockman on Ebay for $8.49 shipped, will post comments once delivered.  In the meanwhile, here's a video review of the brand in general.

PS. You guys need to stop posting these deals, you'll drive a man to ruin...

On top is a toothpick from the ArrowHead line, designed by Brian Yellowhorse - $12 shipped.  Below is a stockman with green gunstock-checkered bone scales - $8.49 shipped.  Can't find much to complain about; they are very well constructed, tightly-fitted knives.
