It’s in the states.. Maybe Friday? Want to take it apart and do the boost. I might de dome it depending on how well it throws- I been keeping up on Vinh’s v2 thread of his king thrower pulling 8 amps, reminds me of the vdroop problems cpus used to have back in the day. There was that spike in voltage right when you put on a load, so to keep the voltage under spec and stop electromigration, they simply would droop the voltage lower than set in the bios / idle. This caused a lot of headaches overclocking as you would be adding more heat than necessary with a higher voltage to keep it stable under load.
Think he’s running into the same problems over there on the other forum. He keeps blowing the led, I’m guessing on spike. If he would start it lower and ramp it up after the spike, he might have a 750k thrower that has all the lightchoobs watering at the mouth.. I’m kind of interested but it seems like quite a bit of money to part with.
These are the long sought after extension tubes that fit HD2010's. Two would cost $5, fit in a $5.80 small flat-rate box. I would have grabbed them in a second for ~$15.
Little bird told me that those are available separately at GB(she whispered also something about a special coupon - in the near future..).
I got tracking number at friday (almost a week ago) but chinese post tracking says that “China Post has not received parcel#”. So if you got tracking number that doesn’t mean that package was actually sent.
I logged in to my account with Ric and checked my orders, status shows shipped with a tracking number. I ran the tracking number through 17track.net and it shows to have gone through customs in NYC and is with USPS. So I expect to see it probably Friday or Saturday.

If you read the above link dangerous has made an assumption here and I'm not sure that he has read the linked thread properly. What he says may be well be true but again I'd suggest not. This poster has gone out of his way to stir the pot in several threads. I will not be commenting further on this as I preempted this happening hence the note in the OP. It is quite common for tracking to never work until after the item arrives at the destination.

I think Indiana is on the slow list, seems like I saw somewhere Indiana will be at least 3 days behind other USPS services due to all the shooting going on at some of the delivery addresses…

Got mine today. Overall impressions after a few minutes are good.
Pros:
The light feels solid, but not too heavy.
Knurling feels pretty good. I like aggressive knurling, but this feels like "medium".
All parts fit together well, without any looseness or rattling.
The hotspot seems pretty bright for stock. Subjectively not as small or as bright as a Convoy L4 with a XP-G2 swap, but the sun is out and I have no instruments to measure lux anyway.
17mm forward clicky switch fits without any issues and works well. Simply add a metal washer toward the rear and discard the rubber o-ring toward the front.
The AR lens is flawless to my eyes.
Cons:
There are some chips in the anodizing throughout the body, presumably from being manhandled in transit. Perhaps placing it in a crappy cardboard box (like most Chinese lights ship in) would have greatly reduced these chips.
Stock lens was dirty and had lots of smudges.
All threads were bone dry, so I spent a few minutes lubing everything up. I would've done so anyway, so not really a major issue.
There are some imperfections in my reflector. Looks like some dirt/sand was trapped underneath the layer of chrome(?).
The beam is slightly ringy in the spill zone, but it's pretty mild and tolerable.
Edit: The unit I received has a green o-ring in front of the lens, as well as a green rear switch boot. This was unexpected; I would have preferred plain black, but it's a minor detail.
Just emailed RIC - mine was supposedly shipped 7/25 with this tracking #: RF252140216SG, and USPS and 17track.net has no info on it, but looks like 17track.net is broken right now.

My tracking number also returns no results on USPS.com or the USPS app.

For the record, the DHL text I received was not about this light.
The company in Australia that I ordered a photo album from had it printed in China, imagine that!

Haven’t you noticed our beer gets colder once he’s passed out?
I thought the slush looked a little of color. Maybe he should be drinking more water.

My Y3 is in New York. So right now the "Y" stands for Yankee, but when it gets down here to a proper home in the South, it will stand for Yipee!
When mine gets down here to the “deeper South” the Y will stand for “Yaaahoooooo!”
Mine arrived today, A-OK. Just bubble bags and a lot of foam wrap. No signature required. Thanks Ric and MRsDNF.
Damn Yankees, they always get their lights first.
I should hope so, as they probably all arrived in the same container to JFK, only 28km from me.
Thats not the only thing they get first.

They’re playing with mine in Jamaica, it’s been sitting outside Queens for 3 days according to tracking.
Just emailed RIC - mine was supposedly shipped 7/25 with this tracking #: RF252140216SG, and USPS and 17track.net has no info on it, but looks like 17track.net is broken right now.
Hey that’s singapore.. Mine didn’t come out of singapore like Tom’s. I have a feeling I’m going to end up with a locusto
My tracking number also returns no results on USPS.com or the USPS app.
RIP SPC Joey Riley, KIA 11/24/14. Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.
Mine shows in 17track and USPS both, but has been sitting in Jamaica NY for 3 days now. ( A suburb of NYC, near Queens and the Bronx)
Edit: The tracking number on mine is an LNxxxxCN number, left China on the 9th, been in NY since the 12th.
