I just checked the notes and it’s showing a total of 25 lights ordered. Including mine. Smile

You have 24 lights/names listed in post one, but you don’t have mine in there. So there’s the 25 they show on the site page.

That's good to hear. How were you notified that it had been shipped?

I'm listed twice, but I only ordered one.  Slot 22 should not have my name.  Please add the "+ 1 AR Lens" to slot 13.

I also ordered one. Had the same message about failure after the payment went through, but I had that with other orders recently, too, but those got shipped anyway.

There is only 22 lights shown as ordered. This does not sound right to me. It may pay to check with Ric or again check on the webpage under order note.

It always says 'Payment failed' on CNQG, always actually went through in my experience.

I really like this and was thinking of doing an MTG2 conversion. A bit concerned that the reflector won’t give the MTG2 all it’s glory and will narrow the flood too much. Thoughts?

What sort of pattern were you after?

I wouldn’t know how to articulate the pattern I’m after. I’ve seen beam-shots of the G2 and it’s great. I just fear the Y3 is the wrong host for it considering it makes the XML beam soo thin.

I guess 30 degree hotspot with the rest flood would be what you would expect with a G2? Otherwise might as well leave it as is.

You may of see this but theres quite a few MTG-2 shots here that may help including a HD2010.

Think I posted this before, a wall shot of the stock Y3 can be found here: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/32243, compared to a few other lights. Looks like the flood area is smaller than a HD2010 - all beamshots taken from same exact distance off the wall (light and camera). An HD2010 has a pretty shallow reflector compared to other throwers show (K40, M12, etc.), so wider flood.

when I was ordering another light.
I ordered 1 version C + AR.
Said forum, so I figured it might be here.
It was, so I’m reporting my buy.
This is getting addictive.

Do I need to make a list of my lights now?

Definitely… Then you can see how far you still have to go… Big Smile And you can see how little you have spent so far, compared to what you are going to spend if you spend any amount of time here…

Hi, my name is Anton, and I’m addicted to flashlights.

Down_South, I have over 100 18650 cells. Smile Add that into your thinking. And 9 chargers. It does get very addictive, you need a good strong resolution to get through some of the things you learn here.

(I am obviously weak! Smile )

The majority of mine are high discharge cells like 20R, 25R Sony C4, C5 , Efest 35A and then some Panasonic PF, PD and 3400mAh B’s. I’ve only got a few Sanyo lap pulls.
