Yeah not too bad. I did not know there were covers of this song. I searched on YouTube and there are plenty. Now I’m going to have to OD on BB. Yeah I like that song a lot as well as quite a few other Sweet songs.

Listening to "Country Honk" reminded me of the comment Brad Paisley made when he opened for the Stones back in 2015: I like to say they’re the No. 1 rock band in the world, and they’re in the Top 5 in country bands..."
Bugger! That’s one of the best covers of any DP song I ever heard.
Wow, me too!
Saw DP at the Flint (michigan) IMA auditorium back in 1972. Johnny Winter was the warm up band. What a crazy show. Arena was thick with the smell of pot smoke, Deep Purple was loud as hell but clear and clean sound. John Lord put on like a 10 minute organ solo blasting through a huge stack of Marshals and Leslie speakers. Richie Blackmore destroyed a few guitars and amps. Ian Paice played one of the best drum solo’s I’ve ever heard to this day.

seems like it would be too loud for her voice to pick up
was it live recorded, or were they lip syncing to their recording?

Nice. Would love to hear what Frank would have to say today. He became painfully aware of lazy quacks at the end..
Funny, last time I heard that song it was by Krokus.
Not too bad of a remake.
