I have an original model DQG18650, but I drilled a small hole in the bottom of the battery tube.
Turns out the battery tube wasn’t straight. Instead it tapers like cone. My battery went in… but didn’t come out.
I had to drill the hole so I could insert something to push the battery out from the bottom.
