death of zoomie king uf-t20?new big zoomie with big head.singfire sf-360!!

hallo people.i found right now this:
http://www.dx.com/p/singfire-sf-360-900lm-5-mode-white-zooming-led-flashlight-w-cree-xm-l-t6-black-1-x-18650-338476
it looks very very interesting, cos the head-which will be probably a better sister of uf-t20…and finally-its a slide system-not the annoying rotating twisty system…
not heard about this before…i ordered one-i will post my thoughts about it soon!!!

Looks like there is already a killier one out there

yes,but this one is too big!!! i will report about this soon

+1

And actually I personally prefer the twist-focus system of the T20. For bikers the sliding system may not be ideal, also depends on how tight it is.

But the Uniquefire 1405 appears to have too much threads for the focusing system, meaning that you need to screw and unscrew the head a lot in order to adjust the focus.

i use on my bike sipik sk98 and absolutly no problem…and its slide one…

Looks like a nicer shape than the UF-t20 or the UF-1405, though not as smooth as the Yezl t9. The big thick lens will catch a lot of the led’s light.

I had seen that one as well on dx (actually the red led version), and almost bought it for the same reason as you did: it looks like it will outperform the Uniquefire UF-T20. But then the three new Uniquefires appaeared at Fasttech and I went for the extreme size and performance of the Uniquefire 1405 (blame me for greediness :-( )

But I am really curious about the quality and performance of this one. Do you have a Uniquefire UF-T20 to compare it with?

hallo.yes,i have upgraded uf-t20 with 4 amps driver,more i cant get:)
so i will compare it of course and then change driver of course….iam very interested for this zoomies…its shipped,so i should get it soon:))
hm…but i should change my topic….cos this looks also very good:
http://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10009201/1815000-2020
so another model to compare!!

this is what i bought right now….just attention-its not twisty-its slide system…but its big plastic case-suprise-looks good.nice new good bright zoomie…!!!

Nice…. and it comes with a red emitter too. A little more than I want to pay and the cell and charger are of no use.

If DX is reading this… I would love to review the red version!

I still don’t see a report of how good the SingFire SF-360 is, and it is still on my Dx wish list. Anyone have one yet?

Added 2/24/’15: I finally ordered one from DXSoul. I’ll report soon.

This does look like a nice zoomie.

It does look nice. I prefer sliding zoom over the twisting, so the unique fire was never of any real interest to me.

Anyone find this one without the cell and charger crap?

I finally decided to order the SF-360 and the UF-T20 so I can do a comparison.

I’d really like to find a 26650 with a large head like these. Anything available in that form-factor?

I'm still curious about this one, with its sliding zoom and the bigger lens than the uf-t20. And it is less bulky than the new Uniquefires.

Yes please do report back for those that bought this light

The DX USA warehouse must have union labor.
It is still not shipped while the Amazon order is already taking on water.

Wow! Add DX USA warehouse to the unreliable shipping prediction list! Just now had HongKong received my order from Feb 27th. No real status… no acknowledgement that it was actually stocked in the USA, and no commitment at this time of when I will see the flashlight. If the web site is to be believed, 4 days handling (they maxed on this one)… then 4 to 7 days for delivery. Any odds?

Mine is listed as shipped now-, with a tracking number that starts with “US”, and their own tracking site.
Maybe the problem is with catching up after Chinese New-Year.

That’s a personal best! The UF-T20 was only 2 weeks from China through Amazon… and it beat the USA Warehouse DX order.

This was the flashlight on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0098G0XRC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

It draws almost 2.4 amps and fits unprotected cells and my EVVA protected cell which measure “large” compared to all my other 18650’s.

No little white box. It had the pink bubble wrap and a foam over-cover very well taped up.

Nice beam but I can’t wait to take the lathe to the crown.
