Question about Ultrafire WF- 501B Host

Hi. I just received the WF-501B host that I ordered from Manafont and am wondering if I should remove that plastic adaptor that is attached to the drop in side of the battery tube. Fit seems to be a bit tight when using a protected battery though I can still screw down the head and tailcap. I am just that the protection PCB on my battery will get crushed. Sorry to bother you guys. This is the first WF-501 that I got that has that adaptor. Has anyone had any experience with this host? Could someone tell me how to remove that adaptor? Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

Yeah , remove it ....

The adaptor is for unprotected cells. I am not sure how to remove it. http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/ultrafire-wf501b-flashlight-tube-no-led-emitter-p-4050

Its just a plastic spacer with some metal for pill to battery contact - Usually there for Xenon pill

Just use a screw driver or something to gently tap out the front [ head side ] , should not require much force .

I take a long screwdriver and insert it into the flashlight so it is touching the insert and sticking out the bottom of the flashlight a couple inches. Then I grasp the flashlight and swing it in a downward motion causing the screwdriver to hit the ground forsing the insert up and out the top of the flashlight. Then I take the tube plug insert and put it in an envelope and mail it to Johnny Mac.

Thanks for the info guys. I really appreciate it.
