Hi guys This is Sami. I’ve been on this great forum for over a month, I always start activities and answer questions actively. We sent about 40 samples/giveaways in the past month, now I got many feedbacks but sadly though, about 15% of the customers are not satisfied with the quality, especially this giveaway: 1600LM CREE T6 White LED Zoomable Rechargeable Flashlight Lamp Torch 5 Modes for the torn picture activity. Some said it doesn’t have 5 modes, some said not very well-built and the light output is rather poor etc. I checked with managers and then factory, turns out the lumens are not right, it actually 800 lumen, only 3 modes… I’m pretty embarrassed by those info on the description page! I will ask them to change immdiately (also I don’t recommend to buy this product)

I worked for another famous Chinese internet shop before (actually they active on this forum too), I know this kinda misleading information are quite normal also managers are not very familiar with prodcuts etc. These seems exist in nearly every E-shop of China. When I asked why factory do this, they said nowadays everybody does in this way, if you don’t follow then no one would buy from you. Really so?? I don’t think so, quality and honest info are always the first place!

Anyways, first I want to apologize to the winners who got 1600LM CREE T6 White LED Zoomable Rechargeable Flashlight , if you are not satisfied I will send you other equal value products (few satisfied with it said worth for the money), just PM me. If you happen to buy this and you are not satisfied, send me your order number I will ask CS department to refund you.

Second my team made ridiculous low price for these products for compensation on BLF, I promise EachBuyer doesn’t earn anything from these products in these prices, but these prices will only valid until 31st August. Or I will be fired if I let these price goes on for long time.

SKU:WW74 WRONG product description. The product description for this FLASHLIGHT seems to be for a tablet computer.

SKU:BK208 Two of the product photos shown as you scroll down the page are for SKU:WW74

These are just major errors I spotted while looking at a few of the sale items so I would say the web site needs serious work if it all has such obvious DUMB errors. It does not give ANY confidence in the company doing the selling. Also I note what appear to be some greatly exaggerated Lumens claims on both the above SKU listed items. I want lights on Chinese web sites to list close to accurate ANSI OTF lumens and other technical information, not BS POOYA specifications.

Sammi, I feel bad for you man. You seem to be doing everything in your power to keep the customers happy, but from what I’ve seen, management has no idea on how to run a company. I hope this changes so your company can be a mainstay here!

Re: their BK218 headlamp. Dual-XML T6 with a claimed output of 3000 lumens. Christ. In the very same post where he issued a mea culpa for claiming that their single-XML-T6 rates 1600lm when in reality it rates at 800lm, he lists another light with similarly outrageous claims.

Chinese Lumens claims are a generic problem along with current and power listings which mathematically and from the Physics involved frequently make no sense at all. I have even seen where sellers took already ridiculous manufacturers lumens claims and inflated them even more.

I keep wondering if they lie to their own local Chinese customers in the same way or they think that all westerners are fools and barbarians. After all the old Chinese general meaning for barbarian could be translated most accurately as “non Chinese”. Does the old attitude and meaning still exist? BTW to a ancient Greek or Roman the word barbarian had the same connotation as “non Greek” or “non Roman” but at least for the Romans that meant someone from outside the empire and you were considered a Roman regardless of race or color if you were from inside the empire and had Roman citizenship.
