There are so many group buys at the moment arranged by some wonderful members of BLF and on-line stores, I am wondering what choices people would buy if you could have only one.
I am currently considering the BLF Eagle Eye X6 or the Xintd. Maybe some are considering the Supbeam offerings. And there are others.
Which would you prefer and why and what do you intend to use them for ?
Buy them all!
I’ll be buying minimum 5 X6’s, haven’t even been a week since I sold mine and already I’ve almost broke down several times and ordered another regular onebut I’m holding out for the BLF ones still (for now, it was such a useful light).
I also got in on the Y3 GB (and my package was one of the 20+ RTS’d :(). I’m also really debating picking up a couple X3’s just to have on hand for builds while their cheap only thing is I’m really not big on the seller.
So many choices!! (so much help I know)…
I would get the XinTD X3, but the X6 is probably a better value. The Yezl Y3 will probably throw the furthest and the BLF X6 will probably have the most flood.
I know what you mean. So many choices. I have the Y3 but didnt get in time for the group buy. Had no problems with mine and it’s a great light.
How about a group buy for a quality 18650, 365nm UV light?
I got a 504b UV light a few month ago for about $15 AUD. Very powerful but I havent really tested it for real world use. I dont really have any real use for them and got this to add to my collection only.
So whats your opinion of the standard X6. With a bigger head than a tube light, does it throw ok for 600 odd lumens?
it throws great, a much better choice than the larger C8 IMO!
Some modding (ok a lot of modding) and they do 100k+, they can easily be raised to 60-80K with a simple dedome and resistor mod (hell just a dedome and no driver mod should net you >50k)
put a xp-G2 in them and they’d probably do 120k (but at a lumen loss over XM)
X6 seems to me the better value, and an overall general-use practical light. The others are more oriented to specific use since they are throwier and bulkier. What are you looking for?
Although it will never happen, a GB on the Zebralight sc62w would be fantastic. Won’t happen because the dealers’ margins are so low. Oh well, we can but dream.

I’m not really looking for a particular light as I could use both. Is there any discount codes for the original X6 through Banggood so I can try an original out?
