Opinions? Shadow TC6 available at CNqualitygoods!

Hi there fellow BLF'ers.

A little while ago I saw this Shadow TC6 posted in a thread by forum member 'revolver' and I mentioned the fact that 'I NEEDED IT'. Well, I don't know if Ric from CNQ is just great at listening to us here on the forum or it is just a coincidence but it is now available. I am thinking about pulling the trigger but because there is little info about this light or the brand 'shadow' anywhere, I just wanted to get some last opinions from the people who know lights best.

What do you all think about this light? Look like its worth the money? I absolutely love the styling, and the color. The modes suite my needs but it is the quality and the 2x18650 layout that worry me.

Note that it is also available in warm white.

Thanks everyone!

It's nice that you can choose between 3 or 4 modes.

It also seem to have square threads. I do not know if you have actually read the whole thread.  http://budgetlightforum.com/node/3350     but I've signaled some off centered XM-L on this flashlight. Check out the accessories : http://www.29002500.com/images/201106/goods_img/235_P_1308217854477.JPG

As far as I know the brand Shadow hasn't been sold to the west before cnqualitygoods.com offered it. For quite some time, Shadow had that 26650 body for sale, on the Chinese market. Rebranded from Torchlite.

Ok tell us about output.  The Ad says max of 2.5A and a range of 4-8.4V so I assume it draws 2.5A on one cell and 1.2 or so on 2.  An XML driven to 2.5A from 2 cells would be mighty hard driven and Hot but might be amazingly bright with a good deep reflector too.

Ask Ric, I don't know details like that.

Yeah it's stated as having 800L @ 2.5A  .  Appears true if you look @ this : http://budgetlightforum.com/node/2603

that has to be a single cell measurement then.  2.5A at the tailcap with 2 cells should be near 1000 lumen.

I see that cnqualitygoods states 850L , but the original seller on taobao stated 800L which is more like it when it comes to 2.5A

Somehow I doubt that. They say the runtime is 2 hours, too much for 1000 L.

This is a 2x18650 only why would they made measurements only on one 18650?

I emailed Ric to see if he is shipping the light with the box and accessories that Hikelite posted. I also asked him about the off center LED issue.

The light looks pretty high quality for the price. Then again, the Yezl's looked high quality from their photos and torture test videos yet I was extremely let down by my samples and I know others have been too. So I am weary and that is why I am asking you guys before I pull the trigger on this one Smile

I doubt Ric knows much since all he does is take others' photos and puts it's own watermark.

The taobao seller says :

Constant current circuit, broad voltage, reliable, safe, low voltage protection function.

Maybe someone can decipher what is this about, regarding the flashlight:
