Fenix just released their new torch LD60,max 2800 lumens,separate circuit design,use three 18650 batteries,each 18650 battery will light up just one LED.
Wow the multi-cell at one time capability is pretty impressive. It’ll be interesting to see if any safety concerns arise. I wonder what happens if you mix different charge state / capacity cells. Does it monitor each cell and shut that emitter down or what?
I have no desire to own this light (I just build whatever I want) but I still wonder about those points.
