Dude ! that’s not fair,,,,,,, i cant even have that knife legally, and TBH i want the gun and that is just TOTALLY out of the question unless i can find one on the black market for >3000 USD
And dont get me started on how hard / near impossible it will be to get ammo, and the price for it if you was lucky to find some.
BUT ! i actually have a nice S&W T shirt in the mail cuz if i cant have it i can scream off the top of my lounges that i want it.
Fixed blade Friday: Jesse Jarosz Globetrotter midtech. Fashioned in AEB-L, and richlite scales, carried via a Sagewood Gear belt loop dangler adapter securing a Cleveland Kydex DE sheath.
Sanrenmu LAND 912. Paid twenty dollars from a U.S. seller on eBay. Very impressed with it. Razor sharp 12C27 blade steel at this price, amazing value.

This is my TwoSun TS66-G10. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
I posted a couple of pics about the process here.
I had owned a TwoSun TS66-G10 up until last week. I gave it away as a gift. The person said “this is an awesome knife, I love it.” Yep, simply amazing knife for around $30-$35 on eBay where I had gotten mine.
The mod you did to yours is very cool!

My Future's So Bright...well, my flashlights are anyways.
Thanks!
I mean the price – value ratio of the Land 912 is outstanding in the budget category.
The TS66-G10 is also nice but it cost me 3 times more than my Land 9103 (912).

I really like the TS66-G10 in blue/white. It reminds me a little of Japanese Manga.
Drop Gent G10 black. S35v bought on sale during Christmas.
I love that little guy. I have the same, and contemplating getting the CF or rosewood version.
Yeah same here. For $60 on special with the S35v steel, very toned down look, slim profile, and bearings. Makes for a very good EDC. The S35v holds it’s edge pretty good as well.
My EDC knife for the past ~12 years has been a Boker LEO-Damast III with the ironwood inlay. The wife got it for me and it’s been an awesome knife; much better than my $20 Gerber I had before it.

I also hate the cavity left for swapping recessed clips. Some designs address this by including a swappable steel cover plate but I think that’s ugly. This has caused me to pass on a bunch of otherwise nice knives.
This is the coolest and most interesting solution I’ve seen. How durable is that long-term?

Thanks! So far so good. I hope this Gorilla epoxy won’t let me down.
I’m not a big fan of these left side carry pocket clip slots either. I can live with it on my Land 910plus and Ganzo FH11 but on this TwoSun it was quite irritating.
I’m thinking of dying it a light pink to keep the semi-translucent affect.
Nice! I’ve had a hankering for a knife with “jade” scales (semi-translucent soft green). There are quite a number of knife models available in the budget range, each with slightly different texture and shading. I really like the look of the Texel. Where did you find it?
I’m thinking of dying it a light pink to keep the semi-translucent affect.
The Texel is a really nice knife. I finally got a black one after getting my hands on a spare black back spacer to match it. Being a humid summer though, I probably won’t do the swap and start carrying it until Fall.
Given the excellent results of your lavender Feldspar, I’d love to see a pink Texel. I’ve been on the hunt for cheap Jade G-10 to practice my dye skills with your method.
Yeah, seems there’s many sites offering that discount at the same time. But White Mountain has no minimum for free shipping… and of course, it sold out there.

Today I EDC-ed a new knife, a Fox Livri with micarta scales, and like it a lot. It is a small slipjoint knife, lightweight (linerless) and so modest that I can use it everywhere without raising eyebrows but it is M390 steel and razor sharp.
I seen the jade Texel on Amazon, as well, with free shipping. But it showed limited stock, six on hand I believe. It’s $52 like most retailers, too.
How are you getting on with the weight? It comes in at about 3.5oz, which is a full 1.1oz lighter than the similar WarWolf by Bestech (3.5” blade vs. 3.23” on Texel).

I had a Bestech WarWolf in color tan. I dyed the scales red, but I have since given it away to a member here. I do remember the WarWolf being a little bigger in hand, fitting my large sized hands nicely. While the Texel is comfortable in my large hands, but it is the smallest size knife I would feel comfortable carrying. It’s lighter than the WarWolf, but it is every bit as solid feeling. Very nice knife.
Both knives have excellent pivot actions. I think the lighter weight Texel blade allows for the deployment to fly open with a little more authority. A very satisfying snap when flipped open.

I think I’ll carry my new Emerson Commander Karambit for the first time. My Super CQC8 was getting a little heavy yesterday.

Thank you for the compliment on my lavender job. Looks like it might be a while until the local Michael’s craft store will have pink DyeMore in stock.

75mm Higonokami.
The blade is coated with lube to inhibit rust, so it doesn’t look pristine. Plenty sharp.
