Carrying my Randy Larsen Custom Damascus today with the burl mesquite scales. Use this pretty much strictly for food purposes… had it over 3 years already, time flies!
It would be fastastic to see some land-sanrenmu knives with frame lock with disc, replaceable frame lock, ball bearings and… a flipper
A step more.
A couple of new full sized frame-lock Sanrenmu flippers arrived to GB with Sandvik 12C27 blade and Beta Lock safety switch / lock-bar limiter. As I know they also run on bearings. So the only thing you will miss is the lock-bar insert.
Yes, i know the new models from Sanrenmu, i like for example the 9002 model. And it’s from Sanrenmu, not Land.

3 years and still looking good, I remember seeing a picture of that a while back.
I wanted a small box-cutter that wouldn’t rust, Blade HQ helped me out with the Stedemon Knives Mini-01, a Titanium frame lock with CTS 204-P blade steel that is thick, has a nice point on it, and should hold a great edge.
Very unique flipper, with the flipper mechanism on the end of the knife where it doesn’t exactly show itself for what it is. Pretty clever, nicely made, ceramic bearings and ball detent. Quick and easy to use, small and unobtrusive in the pocket.
The S731 is a slim, elegant knife. It weights only 75 g /2.64 oz/ (117 g /4.12 oz/ with the sheath).
The S745 is a different category, according to its specs that’s a heavy duty beast.
Is it just me that uses a flashlight about 10,000 times a year, and a knife about 10 times?

I use a knife about 10-20 times a day, incl. kitchen knives and folders, open packages, cutting straps, w/e.
On job I use it even more, cut rawhide, EVA foam and whatnot.
Flashlight? maybe once a month in summer and once-twice a week in winter time.
Well, I live in a developed country so there’s not so many spots where I need a light if it’s not looking for toys under the sofa or in the very rare occasions when there’s no light at the front door (happened once during the 3 years I live in this flat).
On the other hand I’ve bought tweezers with a flash light built in. Good idea to have light where you need it but sadly it’s made too cheaply.
The arms are not hardened so it will bend with nearly no force
Beautiful looking blade

What make and model is that? Do you have a link to it? I’d like to own one of those.
It’s a non-branded folder which you can find in different versions on Aliexpress here or here .

What model number is that Ganzo?
Spyderco Roadie. UK knife laws restrict general carry to non-locking blades under 3 inches
Thank you sir!
Sanrenmu S731 for me:

Yes but waiting a bigger and heavier powerful knife from Sanrenmu. Well it is yet. The s745, it seems a real beast. I like it!.

A old Spiderco Native. I picked it up at Walmart about 17 years ago and they sold them for $20.
That must have been painful for Sal to let Sam undersell his stuff.
Spyderco para military 3 black.. very strong clip…

TwoSun TS16-Ti
It looks like a TEC P-7 suspension clip.
More like any knock-off chinese version of the TEC P7
The good ones have an “X” on the back. The other ones are crap…
