The iPhone 6 Plus is the most flexible iPhone ever.

The low mode should be lower.

can you use swype to type on it or you have to type letter-by-letter because it’s locked to Apple keyboard?

Oh, yeah, the iPadmini 6, er, wait, I mean iPhone 6.

Way too big for my taste, even the “small” one is too big, and the large one might as well be a television in my eyes. Also, what’s with the protruding camera? now it’s required to get a case for your phone to lay flat on it’s back???????

Applefail.

I have an iPhone 5 and still wish I had my iPhone 4. Smaller is sometimes much much better.

Ever try to EDC a SkyRay King???????

I tried those swiping keyboards, but I didn’t like them. I might be used to the traditional one. I’m getting old

Honestly I’m fed up with Apple.

Sure they make some nice products but they are just being a sheep and following what everyone else is doing.

They themselves where so convinced that a screen size bigger than 4 inches was too big in a smartphone but nope… They realised that everyone else was making bigger phones and that they where selling a lot of them. They also gave no reason or explanation for the size increase, Why? Because they didn’t have a better reason other than every other manufacturer is doing it. It’s the same story with the ipad mini.

I’ll pass, LG G3 for me or when it comes out, the Nexus X (/nexus 6 :D)

I take it that was a joke because we heard people would put them in their pocket and they’d bend out of shape.

I love that the new 6 is so damned fragile.  Lots of people dropping them.  They seem to break if you look at them wrong.  I loved the news shot on release day...

They were interviewing the "lucky" fans that got theirs first and one guy was taking it out of the box to show the reporter and it fell out when he took the box lid off.  It hit the ground and was cracked in 2 different places and dinged up bad in a third.  The look on his face...like a kid that just found out Santa wasn't real.

*Disclaimer: Not trying to start a flame war either but I am an Android person.  Any poking fun at Apple, Apple products, or Apple "Sheeple" is purely intentional.

I gave up on Apple’s tactics and their delicate frail crap long ago after several ifone 4 failures. ( also i prefer bigger screens for my back country mapping and navigating purposes and happy with my better Galaxy Note-3 with 160GBs of storage.

I don’t carry a phone with me at all but i never was able to jump on the apple bandwagon. there products are over priced and under driven as hardware goes. Too many of there product are based on old technology and def. are not user friendly. But then again i like to tinker and overclock my hardware.

IMHO the new Nexus 6 is where it is. S805, 5.2 IPS 2560 × 1440, 3GB ram, 13MP camera, HTC made, for around 450$, Android L (much faster then any OS ever) see ya Apple.

Fenix TK61 MOD> resistor, transistors, copper heatsink, Artic Cooling MX4, dedome, 3A > 5.7A ~ 1700 lumens > (600.000cd)

I have an upgrade with verizon next spring… I am looking at the nexus 6, galaxy s6, and note 4

all will be around $200ish with a contract

Apple is not about specs, it is about the experience. Had an Iphone 3g, switched to an Galaxy S2, back to Iphone 4s, now I have a Galaxy S4. Each OS has its good parts, ease of use certainly goes to Apple. I use Android mainly because I like to flash different roms and poke around under the hood.

I do the same. Galaxy s3 here.

Not hating on apple – droid does have problems too depending on the model, but there usually are workarounds and the phones are generally cheaper.

Eagerly waiting for my 6 Plus which goes for sale on Friday here on Finland.

You guys mocking the specs of the iPhone should check these benchmarks on Anandtech . Meagre dual core still beats the high end Android phones on browser tests and is on the same ballpark on the other tests. 1GB of ram is still a bummer though.

I had an Ipad 2 and 3 for a while – worked well and no issues – I prefer tinkering with my droid Nexus 7 though Smile

I don’t get the “same spec as 2012” I have a Samsung note 2 for work and now a iphone 6plus for personal, the note still has “better spec” with its quad core but I can tell you it’s no where near as fast as the iPhone
I also have a lumia 1020 which despite its low spec still runs smoothly with a great camera , I came from a windows mobile background then into android with a HTC Sensation, the only thing sensational about that was the lag
I don’t want to start a “war “ here as I really don’t see the point of people argueing over which phone they like they all suit people differently

My experience of android wasn’t good so I’ll keep off it. In my job I do get to test quite a few handsets and the HTC One M8 is a good phone with great audio speakers the only thing comparable I have tested is the Blackberry Z30 which tbh I really like as a phone , different UI and quite nice all round
